dear readers, We are living in such exciting and sometimes hard-pressed times. Yet, God has promised us in Jeremiah 29:11, that He plans to give us a hope and a future! A future that is so good and full of good things. God is, after all, the giver of good gifts, and He longs to give us the Kingdom. Psalm 27:13 “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Think about that for a moment. Here is a promise that God wants to be good to us... in our personal lives and in our business place. God wants us to prosper and be in health just as our soul prospers (3 John 2)... that’s whole life prosperity. Take Heart Of late, we have heard of many businesses that are going through hard times. If this is you, we want to encourage you to ‘Take Heart!’ This is not the end. Don’t despair, just hang in there and trust God to show you His goodness. Don’t become consumed with the nitty gritty. Instead of letting the situation get the better of you, shift your focus. Where you place your attention, your desire will grow. Major in on God’s report and your outcome will radically change. An upward focus will affect your inward and outward focus. It will make you more sensitive and able to discern the Lord’s leading. Get a vision for victory. Decide where you want to be by the end of the year and make strides toward that. Dream the dream again. Stir up the gifts, talents, and ideas that God has given you. Re-align your thoughts to be compliant with His Way (Phil 4:8).

Issue #192 / March 2011

If on the otherhand, you are in the eye of the storm and you have no choice but to let certain things go, then be encouraged to find the beauty in the ashes. Let God show you the way forward. Put failure in the past and prepare for your best life yet. Lot’s wife assaulted her future by looking back. Be bold, step out and expect great things.. Become a trendsetter. Through Christ you can do all things (Phil 4:12). In this issue You are invited to send in your community news, testimonies, jokes, funny stories and recipes. We love hearing from you. In this issue, we look at the other side of Drug and Alcohol Addiction... how do the families of these addicts cope and is there help for them? Pastor George Pearsons shares that we are not subject to hard economic times. Believers live by a different standard. Joyce Meyer points out that our thought life is important... our thoughts filter down through our lives... becoming actions and forming habits. Let’s make an investment in ourselves. Start by guarding your heart, paying careful attention to what you watch and hear. Negativity will only make you crit everything. In life, nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Focus on God, apply His Word in your life, and success will come ‘a knocking’. Happy reading... till next time,

Juanita, Lesley, Isabel & Andrew As from the April issue (#193), Herald Info will be on sale at distribution points @ R3.00 per edition.

D

erek Kannemeyer, owner of DJM Kannemeyer Joinery, started his career at the tender age of 23, completing his apprenticeship at Strand Furniture manufacturers in 1972. Strand Furniture Manufacturers was an Italian company producing fine furniture from the ball & claw era, built-in cupboards and kitchens for well known flats in Sea Point & surrounding areas. It was there that Derek learned the trade of joinery, as well as specialising in sash windows, doors, window frames and staircases. At the time he installed counter tops at the municipal building in Strand–there were no sanding machines, and the sandpapering had to be done by hand! Strand Furniture Manufacturers closed down in 1974, and Derek then continued to work for Mr. Bizzo who was the foreman at SFM at the time. Mr. Bizzo started his own wood working business but soon after left the country. Derek bought all Mr. Bizzo’s heavy duty machinery and at the time worked in his dad’s double garage making furniture and cupboards. Derek recalls his first job making a display unit for Mr. David Van Velden at Overgaawer farm in Stellenbosch which had to be approved by his dad, Martin Kannemeyer. Derek was of the third generation to work at the Overgaawer Farm. Derek then started to establish himself in the Helderberg basin by registering his business as DJM Kannemeyer Joinery in 1976. Derek specialised in cupboards, and started supplying houses, flats and hotels in the vicinity. The highlight of Derek’s career was when he was granted the privilege to work at the hotel Alsace in France, in 1996. This opportunity was made possible by Mr. H. Scheppic. Derek left South African shores in September 1996 with his entire workshop & team of four experienced workers.

Issue #192 / March 2011

During his 3 month stay in France, he worked alongside French, Italian & Turkish artisans from which he learnt much about precision furnishing, and how to perfect his trade. DJM Kannemeyer Joinery also furnished a few hotels in Nigeria, with the last hotel done in 2009 being made possible by DDR Projects. “What a great feeling it was for my guys to gain even more experience in Nigeria. Today I look back at the tough times, and glory that came with pain, and know I survived only by God’s grace,” says Derek. Things have changed so much in this modern era that one no longer finds the old artisans who drew up their own plans, selecting & taking their own wood out, sanding, cutting, assembling and installing it. “I am grateful to have staff that have been working here for over forty years–loyal and great men.” says Derek. “My son, Barry-Jon Kannemeyer, who finished his Graphic Design National Diploma in 2009, has now joined the team. He will take the company to higher levels with his new designs, technical skills and further the high standard of work. You can contact Barry-Jon on all wood working matters. I want to thank my loyal supporters & suppliers of the past 38 years–it has been great, and we look forward to another 38 years. God Bless! He carried me through.” D.J.M Kannemeyer Joinery manufactures kitchen cupboards, bedroom fittings, furniture, all doors including Louvre doors, all kinds of window frames, staircases, and meets all woodworking needs. Total Mineral Requirement

uilding, maintaining and renewing healthy body cells is entirely dependent on the presence of minerals. Without minerals our bodies cannot fully absorb and utilize the other nutrients we have in our diet. Every day our bodies require over 90 nutrients: these include over 70 minerals. DEPLETION OF ESSENTIAL MINERALS Modern food production methods have depleted agricultural soils of these vital minerals. Plants can produce vitamins, fatty and amino acids, but it is impossible for them to produce minerals. As the minerals are no longer present in the farm soils, they are therefore not found in the plants that we rely on for our nutrition.

LIFE LEADER’S SOLUTION From mineral-rich mountains, to the pristine waters of the Antarctic Ocean, Life Leader’s TOTAL MINERAL REQUIREMENT combines all the rare earths and minerals which are no longer available in the modern diet, providing you with the ultimate mineral supplement which you need to maintain your natural immunity and vibrant health. The first time you use this supplement may well be the first time your cells have been properly fed. As you sleep at night, millions of your cells reproducing themselves will do so stronger and better than before. EFFECTS ON DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS Life Leader’s TOTAL MINERAL REQUIREMENT is essential for all different age groups. Young people’s cells reproduce at a very high rate and it is vital that these young cells remain vibrant and strong. It is a fact that young people who are diet deficient when they are growing, do not progress as fast as those on a healthy and complete diet. If you are athletic, excess lactic acid limits your performance. Life Leader helps reduce excess lactic acid, maintain a stable alkaline state, allows easier absorption of oxygen, and gives greater endurance. If you are older, or off-peak, or just work too hard, the attrition of life can be very high, so the human frame requires constant maintenance. The inclusion of Life Leader in your diet is similar to putting oil in machinery–ageing, wear and effort are reduced. This allows us to stay younger, longer. IMMEDIATE BENEFITS Life Leader’s TOTAL MINERAL REQUIREMENT contains seventy minerals your body requires for energy, vitality and good health. This unique, patented product has immediate benefits: • Maintains healthy brain and nerve functions; • Sustains normal heartbeat, regulates blood pressure and blood sugar levels and can help prevent the onset of diabetes; • Increases bone density, improves teeth, and helps reduce the effects of osteoporosis and arthritis; • Improved resistance to infection and better immunity. re you advertising your business, and if so, are your adverts effective enough? According to Ad Guru, Peter Drucker, “Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you’re doing, but nobody else does.” You may have the best product or service available, but people need to be made aware of it, so that they will know where to find it! As it is often said, “A business with no sign is a sign of no business!” How true. Therefore, the first important key to getting customers is–ADVERTISE! This seems logical, but it’s amazing how many businesses fail to do so, or if they do advertise, when the market begins to slow down, they cut their ad budget. And as a result, their competitors who continued to advertise begin to take customers away from them! This brings us to the second most important point–CONSISTENCY! It is a well-proven fact that when effective adverts are placed regularly, without interruption–consumers develop a view of stability of that company or product. In addition to that, a business can even save money by placing long-term adverts such as 3 months, 6 months or longer, and benefit from reduced price deals offered. This helps to maintain “top of the mind” awareness in the mind of the consumer, and establishes a sense of trustworthiness.

Lastly, an important point to consider is the writing and design of your advert–is it being truly EFFECTIVE! An advert should be written with the customer in mind, and must answer their “What’s In It For Me?” question. It’s about offering a solution they need–in a way that attracts attention, stimulates interest and fosters a desire for your product or service. It must also include a strong, simple “call to action” so the customer will know how to act on what they have heard. There are other factors to consider when deciding to advertise, including your choice of media. An effective advert in suitable media should directly reach your target market with measurable results. Advertising is a highly specialized area, and it makes sense to let a marketing company or advertising agency handle it for you. All this should help bring you a good Return On Investment, and ensure you’re not just “winking in the dark!”

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11

THE OTHER SIDE OF

DRUG & ALCOHOL ABUSE

T

he longer alcohol and drug abusers use their drugs of choice, the worse their lives become. Until they are firmly in recovery, this continues in a downward spiral until they end up in jail, insane, or dead. “Firmly” in recovery means working a program or attending counseling consistently with a lot of commitment. People who just show up at meetings, counseling, or groups are not necessarily committed to recovery. This is just as true for family members.

FOUNDATIONAL PHASE @ MONDEOR ECHO –by: Nicola Engelbrecht

T

he grade 1,2 and 3’s of Mondeor Eco Primary School have started their new school year on a great note.

Twice a week the teachers accompany the learners to the animal enclosure and give them leftover food they have brought from home. The children are fascinated by the animal’s behaviour when being fed. A learner in grade 2 commented on the turkey’s funny looking neck, making him realise just how different each animal can look. This is a fantastic learning experience for children. Not every child can say, “Today at school I fed the goat!” or “The turkey stole the chicken’s food.” They thoroughly enjoyed it when a pig took a whole apple from a child’s hand and ran off to enjoy it. Mondeor sure is a fun place to be when you are starting school. We all know the saying, “If pigs could fly”… but imagine if the pigs of Mondeor Eco School could talk… For more information about Mondeor Eco School, call 021 858 1309 or e-mail: info@mondeorecoschool.co.za.

LOFDAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS • P.A.D.A. MINISTRY (Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Abuse) TEL: 076 036 9908 • HADASSAH BOUTIQUE HOTEL, KRAAIFONTEIN

Family members are affected by the increased problems that addiction causes. The drugs and alcohol used by the substance abuser are “intoxicants.” This means that they use substances knowing that they will become intoxicated - high or drunk. Over a period of time, many family members begin to experience emotions that leave them “intoxicated” as well. These emotions are called “Intoxicant Emotions.” They include shame, guilt, resentment, self-pity, worry, and anger. These emotions “intoxicate” a person in that they change the way someone feels when he or she indulges in them, and often causes a person to hide, be secretive, feel depressed, or unable to sleep. This is similar to the way an alcoholic or addict may feel when using or coming off his/her drug of choice. Family members follow the same downward spiral as an alcoholic or addict. There are 4 stages of family illness before the family either “bottoms out” or enters recovery. The first stage is the Concern Stage. This is the stage where family members are acting out of a genuine concern. They are only beginning to experience the effects of alcohol and drug abuse by a loved one. The second phase is the Defense Stage. This happens after the “first blockout” where the family members have blocked out the reality of the situation and are going in and out of denial. During this stage, families are preoccupied with the addict’s or alcoholic’s behavior. They protect the addict by lying to other family members, employers, or to others about his/her behavior. While tolerating the addict’s behavior, they feel increasingly responsible for the family problems. After repeated “blockouts” comes the Adaptation Phase. During this phase, family members try to change their own behavior to adapt to the chemically dependent person’s behavior. Family members may attempt to become “the perfect person” hoping that will make the addict/alcoholic happy and change his/her ways. It is at this time that family members may begin to feel they are “losing their minds,” become absent minded, feel like failures, and need medical or mental health care. They often give so much to others that they have nothing left to take care of themselves. Next comes the Exhaustion Phase, when family members defend their use of intoxicant emotions, just like the addict defends his use of drugs or alcohol. They lose their self-worth and experience severe anxiety or depression. All excuses fail and fear rules their lives. They have reached their “bottom.” Just as when addicts reach their lowest point, family members must choose to admit the problem and recover, face insanity or death. They absolutely cannot go on the way things are. When they reach this point, family members must admit their problems and accept help in dealing with them. If families would like to get help for drug or alcohol related problems, contact Ulrich at P.A.D.A Ministry on 076 036 9908.

S

olar Select supplies and installs Solar Water Heating systems, both flat plate and evacuated tube collectors, pool solar heating systems, heat pumps, energy monitoring devices, energy saving shower heads, etc. and are accredited by Eskom on the Solar Water Heating rebate system. They are also registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board and will provide you with the best possible service that you deserve.

There is quite a lot of uncertainty amongst consumers as to how a properly installed Solar Water Heating system and/or heat pump actually works and how you would be able to save energy and money with it. In order to enlighten and inform consumers, Solar Select will provide free “information sessions” every Saturday morning at 11h00 at their new offices in Lourensford road in Somerset West. Free coffee, tea and light refreshments will also be provided. Different aspects of saving energy such as Solar Water heating systems, heat pumps, energy monitoring devices and energy saving shower heads, etc. are discussed. You are more than welcome to attend these sessions or call the office for a personal consultation. Economics: Did you know that technically a Solar System costs you nothing? How is it possible? The first point to underscore is that when you install a solar water heater, you actually make an investment that will increase the value of your home. You gain in equity what you spent on the cost of the installation.

The second point is life-cycle costing. Life-cycle cost analysis gives an accurate picture of the total cost of a purchase over time and takes into account long term trends in the energy prices. Note that the solar cost is R0.00 per month and the only cost is a small annual maintenance fee. As noted before, a solar water heater is paid for the moment it is installed because of what you earn in home equity. Depending on the system installed, breakeven point may be as quick as two and a half years and after that you will enjoy many years of virtually “free” hot water. Please contact Gerhard Vorster on 021 851 4746 or 082 776 1835 for a consultation and discussion on how you would be able to start saving energy right away.

We are not

to the times –by Pastor George Pearsons

W

e are not subject to the times. This was a strong word from the Lord that came to me recently as I was preparing a series of teachings on prosperity for our church. God was very emphatic in His words—the truth that we do not live under the dominion, rule, control or influence of whichever way the economy and the world’s system are going. He went on to tell me the times are subject to us—the Church! The times we are in are subject to the authority of God’s Word, the blood and the Name of Jesus that we activate through our faith. Why? Because we are subject to and governed by another economy and another system—the kingdom of God. You and I live in the secret place spoken of in Psalm 91:1: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 27:5 tells us, “In the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion….” And in Psalm 32:7, the psalmist declares God is a “hiding place.” We must believe and stand firmly upon Psalm 31:15 which says, “My times are in thy hand....” Separated From the World’s Failing System We are to thrive and not just survive. To survive means to barely get along and merely exist. That is not us! Thrive means “to flourish, succeed, advance and prosper no matter what the times are like.” John 17 establishes the fact that we may be in this world, but we certainly are not of this world. We are separated from the world’s failing system. In verse 14, Jesus prayed to His Father, saying: “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” This truth is so important it’s repeated again in verse 16. In verse 15, Jesus prayed that the Father would separate us from the evil that is in the world. Evil in the world includes fear, poverty and disease. Look at these scriptures: Matthew 6:13 says, “...deliver us from evil.” Galatians 1:4 says, “…deliver us from this present evil world.” First John 5:18 tells us, “…that wicked one toucheth him not.” Jesus then asks the Father in John 17:17 to “sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” The word sanctify means “to separate or cut out away from.” Through this prayer, we have been cut out away from the world’s

failing economic system. “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free [has separated us] from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). We are not subject to the economy. We thrive and flourish in spite of what is happening around us. The Wall of Redemption The Old Testament is a type and shadow of the New Testament. In Exodus, for instance, we find a picture of how we are to live today. God told Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him, “Let my people go.” If Pharaoh refused, there were serious consequences. We find them described in Exodus 8:21-22: If thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth. Take special note of what God said in verse 23: “And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be.” The word division in the Hebrew is the same as the word redemption. God actually built a “wall of redemption” between the Egyptians and the children of Israel. And as a result, the plagues that came against Egypt did not touch God’s children. Their cattle did not die, hail didn’t touch them, and there was light in the land of Goshen when it was pitch black among the Egyptians. How does this apply to us now? Look at Galatians 3:13-14: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” We have been redeemed, separated and cut out away from the curse of fear, sickness, lack and debt! Jesus paid in full for you and me to live above whatever is happening in the world’s system. Because of Him, we prosper! Because of Him, we are separated from the evil in this world! Because of Him, we are not subject to the times! CONTINUED ON THE NEXT PAGE >>

Same Conditions—Different Results We just found in Exodus, there is a principle that resonates throughout Scripture. Even though the children of Israel were living in the same vicinity as the Egyptians, the wall of redemption separated them from the plagues. I call it, “Same conditions—different results.” Jeremiah 17:5-8, (NLT), is a great example from the Old Testament. It says, “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land.” Now, here comes the wall of redemption: “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Do you see that? Same conditions, different results. In the KJV of verse 8, this was a time called, “the year of drought.” The person who “maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord” did not produce anything. The person who trusted in the Lord did not “cease from yielding fruit.” When it says his leaf was green, that word in Hebrew means, “to enter into a state of prosperity and become extremely successful.” One man failed, the other succeeded. Again, the conditions were the same but the results were different. Luke 6:47-48 is a great example from the New Testament: “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock” (NKJV). Once again, here comes the wall of redemption in verse 49: “But the one who hears [the Word] and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great”. It was the same storm. The storm was in the same neighborhood, yet the results were quite different. Everything Is Going to Be ALL Right! The Lord gave a very powerful word through Brother Kenneth Copeland during the Homecoming 2010 Convention. In part, He said, The world is in serious trouble. Some very hard things are coming in different places around the world. They are that way now, but they will not get better. They will continue to get worse and worse and worse. It is on a downhill run that the world cannot stop. But, for the household of faith, everything is going to be all right. Everything is going to be all right.

He told us how we are to separate ourselves from these times: Cling to the Word, take your stand, fight the good fight of faith, don’t feed on fear and trouble but feed on the Word. Then, the Lord said repeatedly: Praise and worship and preach the Word. For as I have said, and will continue to say until it becomes solid and strong in your spirit—your time has come. It is your time to excel. It is your time to do exceeding, extraordinary things in the financial world, in the medical world, in all of the areas where the world is in such dire trouble and so confused that they are confused beyond their ability to understand how confused they really are. And they are hurting because of it. They are crying out because of it. But, for the household of faith, everything is going to be all right. Stand on this word, and stand on THE Word. You and I are not subject to the times. We are separated from the world’s system and live in the prosperity of God’s kingdom of heaven right here on earth. The ultimate purpose of our prosperity is to reach out to others. We are protected in the household of faith in order to help those who want to come over and join us. We need to be ready to receive them and assist them in building their new lives in Christ. We must let them know that they are not subject to the times. We can teach them how to come up to a new level of walking in God’s supernatural prosperity and provision. We can give them the good news that in Christ, “Everything is going to be ALL right in the household of faith!” For more resources from Pastor George Pearsons, visit www.kcm. org.za or www.emic.org. SUNDAY SCHOOL?

S

even-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday school. Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God

sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. When he got to the Red Sea, he had his engineers build a pontoon bridge, and all the people walked across safely. He used his walkie-talkie to radio headquarters and call in an air strike. They sent in bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved. “Now, Joey, is that REALLY what your teacher taught you? Well, no, Mom, but if I told it the way the teacher did, you’d never believe it!

A SNAP SHOT IN TIME Little Johnny’s kindergarten class was on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures, tacked to a bulletin board, of the 10 most wanted criminals. One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person. “Yes,” said the policeman. “The detectives want very badly to capture him.” Little Johnny asked, “Why didn’t you just keep him when you took his picture?”

need to learn to fight for our thoughts, because our minds don’t automatically come into agreement with God’s plans. I can look back at it and remember thinking, I’m probably never going to be in worldwide ministry—I probably just made that up because I wanted it to happen. It probably wasn’t God’s will at all. This was my obstacle, and it was a lie all the time. I had encountered so many disappointments in my life that I was afraid to believe anything good might happen. And when I really began to study the Word and to trust God to restore me, I realized my negativism had to go. Practice the Positive Once you’ve identified any obstacles, the next step is to start practicing being positive in all kinds of situations. If you’re going through a difficult time in life, start believing that God will work things out for your good. Even positive thinkers deal with disappointing situations. The difference is that they have learned to let things roll off their back and enjoy life no matter what happens. Say What God’s Word Says Nearly everything God has brought me through has happened by believing and confessing His Word. I recommend that you not only purposely think right thoughts, but that you go the extra mile and speak them out loud as personal confessions of faith (see Mark 4:24).

id you know you can be free from negative thinking? The first step to your freedom is facing the truth and saying, “I’m a negative person and I want to change.” If you really want to, you can overcome it because according to the Bible, you’re a new person in Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:17). Your next step is to find out what may be blocking any positive progress. Identify Your Obstacles Have you ever thought that nothing good is going to happen to you? Maybe you’ve even said something like “If I don’t expect anything good to happen, I won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t.” These thoughts are obstacles in your mind, and simply recognizing them will pave the way to your freedom. As Christians, we

Basically, God’s telling us that the more time we spend meditating on His Word, the more we will see the benefits in our everyday lives and even have a closer relationship with Him. He even promises we’ll be prosperous and successful! (See Joshua 1:8.) I encourage you to spend time examining His Word and comparing it to your thought life. Give God time to help you put your thoughts in line with His. Make up your mind to work toward changing your way of thinking. I’ve found the best way to become a positive thinker is to ask God for a lot of help—and to ask for it often. Want to know more? Take a deeper look at how to align your thoughts with God’s Word and overcome negative thinking with Joyce’s book Power Thoughts. Visit Joyce ’s website at www.joycemeyer.org

The Best Decision Ever If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, pray the following and in turn make Jesus your Lord. Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, ‘Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ and ‘If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved’ (Acts 2:21, Rom 10:9-10). I take you at Your Word. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank you for coming into my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen! If you have prayed this prayer, please write and let us know of your decision at lesley@heraldinfo.co.za “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11
