Leslie Anthony

Leslie Anthony is a Whistler-based writer, editor, author, biologist and occasional filmmaker. Former Managing Editor of Powder magazine, longtime Feature Editor of Canada’s SKIER magazine, and architect and Editorial Director of acclaimed Mountain Life Annual, his name resides on the masthead of numerous ski and outdoor publications globally. At home he writes broadly about travel, adventure and science subjects ranging from imaginary monsters to fossil smuggling in titles like Canadian Geographic, British Columbia and explore. Books include: "Snakebit: Confessions of a Herpetologist," "White Planet: A Mad Dash through Modern Global Ski Culture," "Whistler Blackcomb: 50 Year of Going Beyond," and "The Aliens Among Us: How Invasive Species are Transforming the Planet—and Ourselves."
