what is

?

Oort is a graphic novel based on the short story “11 written by Lushan G. This is a story presented in the form of fictional chronologyof life in our universe and the relationship of humans with their environment. This story is supported by recent studies on the 11 dimensions and the universe in each of them. In the story, present in each of these 11 dimensions is an anomaly called life, which evolves and develops in parallel, however, radically different from one another. Life is compared in differentuniverses and with special focuses on the universe, in which human species exist. I did Oort’s graphic adaptation because I especially like the part of the story set in the Oort cloud.

Qr interactive book This is an interactive QR book for proper reading need a device able to recognize these codes. Its operation is very simple, the book consists of a series of illustrations adapted from a science fiction short story. Each illustration is accompanied by its QR code, meaning through this code can access the details of the image or object, such as development, variations, detailed information and sketches.

The format of presentation is designed for this purpose. Online content and their addresses are link variables. This presentation format allows me to update the QR book so fast and easy. All project information, and referrals raw files are stored online, follow the QR codes and enjoy the world of Oort.

This type of book is adapted to new technologies and represents a saving paper, ink and other pollutants from the impression in physical form.

OORT.PART1

An asteroid hits the Earth, We were saved from a direct hit but lost the moon, applying small corrections to its orbit, the asteroid impact with the moon and 70% of life was extinguished as a result of the debris. From the ashes, humanity rises and begins to appreciate the gift that the universe had given them. The anomaly called life must persist beyond a single planet. Humanity is unified under one government that begins work on launching an expedition into space. For the first time in history all share a common goal, one mission above all others, to preserve life or what is left of it.

12

OORT.PART2

Thus, begins the establishment of colonies throughout the solar system with huge farms and crop gene banks with all the material previously reserved. Soon the problems become apparent, the distance to the nearest star is too great and we are confined to the solar system.

14

OORT.PART3

Even at the speed of light distances are insurmountable,

requiring

hundreds

of years of travel to reach a significant milestone. Hence, a new propulsion and transportation is needed. After discovery of the dark matter of, the experiments reveal beneficial use for it – a new source of energy, the dark light. Testing begins at the Plutonian base of Hohenheim. The dark light is 1220 times faster; its power is the key to the universe.

16

OORT.PART4

Then, asteroids and rocky bodies need to be built into starships. Starting from 40AUs at the Kuiper belt the first starship in the history of mankind is built. It is based on a space object called Eris, which is about the size of the moon and bigger than Pluto. Once the transformation of Erin is finished, it is named Tokita, in memory of a Japanese colony perished in an accident during its construction.

18

OORT.PART5

Communication with the outer colonies take longer than 5 hours. While the construction of Tokita continues, propulsion tests are done with asteroids of similar sizes. The E5293B object disappears behind a test pulse with dark matter, there is no trace in the galaxy and nobody heard from him. Some theories about object E5293B pointing to a mistake with initial push energy transformed into higher speeds than planned so it was impossible to follow, it is believed that is still moving towards indeterminate. The success of these tests conditioned the entire project of the spacecraft Tokita, so the incident with the missing object was buried. 20

OORT.PART6

The spacecraft Tokita takes more than 25 years to build, then plans to expand into the Oort cloud are well advanced. The first phase is to establish a colony in the interior of the Oort cloud known as cloud Hills, is a stop on the journey to the red dwarf Proxima Centauri which is more than a parsec away. When the Tokita asteroid is launched already started building another 6 spacecraft in the Kuiper belt.

22

OORT.PART7

The first family of spacecraft is named as a class Kuiper. Tokita accomplishes its mission and established the first human colony on the inner Oort cloud. By this time has built 28 spacecraft Kuiper class.

24

OORT.PART8

Throwing self asteroid colonies within one kilometer of depth is the best and almost only way to guarantee travel out of our system. Given the impossibility of real communication with the outer colonies and spacecraft Tokita, they must rely entirely on themselves. When Tokita leaves Proxima Centauri behind all communication is lost with the spacecraft. Send another spacecraft in their search would be spending most high and after ten years of waiting, the spacecraft is declared missing. Despite this incident the human expansion plan continuous and are assigned tasks for all the spacecraft class Kuiper.

26

OORT.PART9

All spacecraft explore distant star systems outside the Oort cloud while the second family of spacecraft built, the Oort class, is about to end, for this family have been captured supermassive rocky bodies with more than 4 times the size of our moon . A new transmission Tokita puts the spacecraft back to our system in a period of slowdown. The spacecraft Tokita reports that reached the center of our galaxy 72 years ago. 123 years have passed since your last communication and gave it up for lost, it will take another 25 years more until his arrival in our system.
