Inspired by the magnificent view of the site, the Lincoln Park Library is designed to connect with the nature and the environment in the journey of book hunting. Visitors will explore the programme space, the free space and the relationship between them inside the building. To ignite the curiosity in reading, book hunting describes a more aggressive library experience. This also brings upon the concept of safari, forest, landscape (also works with the site topography)

STRUCTURAL DIAGRAM The columns are not layout in grid to resemble the randomness of woods in forest. Each column is assigned according to the layout of the ramp and furniture and the distant of columns is kept within 20ft in order to have a feasible structure. Cantilever is also kept within 10ft. Columns are all set back from the external wall to have free wall openings (glass installation).
