Johor Old Temple, in the eyes of native Johor Bahru residents, hold a special place in their heart. JB Chingay in particular has evolved to the family carnival and cultural extravaganza it is today, especially with the active participation of the youths and their contribution to the vigour and excitement of the event. Regardless of their purpose, be it for personal or religious endeavours, we hope the younger generations can assume the mantle of passing on our fine traditions and unique spirit of the Old Temple, to the chorus of "Heng ah, Huat ah" near and far.
柔佛古庙游神对土生土长的新山华裔来说，有种难以言喻的向心魅力。而近年来的游神活动更是愈发热闹，值得欣喜的是新山的年轻一辈尤其热衷於参与这一年一度的文化嘉年华，亲身融入游神的队伍里一起欢腾呐喊，持香祈福。希望这纵跨三世纪的游神盛会能成为大家心中的燃点，肩负起先辈文化的传承，在世界各地继续“兴发”。
