PRACTICALITIES Getting around is easy Our campus is just a few minutes’ walk from Waterloo rail and underground (tube) stations and opposite Southwark tube station. Numerous bus routes pass close to the campus, making it easy travel all around the city.

Accommodation The place where you stay is important. You might like to stay in a hall of residence, in a house-share with other students or in a homestay; it may be somewhere modern or more traditional. Although we don’t offer halls of residence or properties of our own, we can refer you to accommodation providers who have lots of options nearby, and who are experienced in meeting the requirements of international students and whose services meet the standard for British Council registration.

If you’re travelling to the UK for the purposes of study from outside of the EEA (European Economic area which includes the European Union plus Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway) and Switzerland, you will need to obtain the appropriate visa to meet the immigration requirements of the United Kingdom. We are a licensed sponsor under the Tier 4 pointbased system. Most non EEA sudents will need a Short Term Study visa, which enables you to come to the UK for a short period of study (up to 11 months on an English language course). This visa does not allow you to work, take a work placement, bring dependants, extend your stay or join other courses at the end of your stay. For more detailed information on visas, please visit lesoco.co.uk/international. We also recommend that you consult the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) website for further information.
