Friendly reminders during PCS season and refreshers on policies. Bulk Pick Up Did you know Liberty offers bulk trash pick up once a year for current residents and one at move out for those residents that are on-notice? To schedule your pick up, call you district housing office. You will need to provide a list of the items that will be disposed of. Please note that LeMay will not pick up hazmat materials, raw wood/pallets, construction materials (bricks/stones), lawn mowers/gas powered items, recyclables, car parts, liquids, or appliances. All furniture must be broken down to the best of your ability. You can add up to 30 trash bags. Bulk pick up days are scheduled for Mon-Wed-Fridays (excluding holidays).

Notice To Vacate Providing proper notice to your district office is required to be in writing no less than 30 days prior to your departure. A pre-inspection will be scheduled at your notice to vacate appointment. During the preinspection, our LMH team member will brief you on best practices for a successful move out inspection. Please review your move out packet that is provided at your notice to vacate appointment. Light Bulbs Please remember to replace all burned out light bulbs at move out except for florescent tube bulbs. Maintenance will replace florescent tube bulbs at no charge to our residents. Please contact your district office for any light bulb questions.

How Can We Help? Do you have a needed repair, a suggestion, or a concern? LMH is committed to enriching the lives of military families through providing homes and vibrant communities. Your feedback is an important piece in helping us accomplish this goal, and we want to ensure we provide you with an avenue to initially address your needed repair, suggestion, or concern and the process to escalate it, should that be necessary. Below is an outline of our easy Three-Step process for concerns and opportunities for feedback.

BBQ grills must be used at least 15 feet from your home to prevent damage to the siding. BBQ grills/fire pits are not to be used under overhangs, eaves in garages or carports. Only commercially purchased above ground fire pits are allowed in family housing and must be used at least 15 feet from your home and within your own yard. All communities need to properly store flammable materials, keep a fire extinguisher or water source readily available and supervise all fires by an adult until extinguished. The burning of leaves, garbage and paper is strictly prohibited. Town Center Residents If you wish to cook outdoors we ask that you use propane barbecue grills only. Charcoal briquette grills are not permitted on the premises. Barbecue grills must be kept a safe distance from the siding and overhangs. Do not leave unattended items cooking. Any damage to siding, overhang or railings from resident negligence will be resident’s responsibility. Any outdoor fireplace, heater, firepots, fire rings, and other similar devices are not allowed on patios, porches, balconies or other areas within the premises. Please see the Resident Handbook for a detailed list of permitted outdoor patio items. All flammable materials must be properly stored.

Community Reminder SWIMMING POOLS You may install an above ground pool in your fenced backyard. You are responsible for getting annual prior written approval from your District Manager. You will be required to fill out the necessary paperwork and pay all deposits associated with pool. You must display the Liberty Military Housing approved pool sign in a visible street facing window any time the pool is set up. All requests must be made annually in writing and include the following: A drawing that details the location of the pool. Size, to include height and capacity of the pool. Approved fence request form, fence must be a 6ft privacy fence with self-latching gate. Fence must be approved and installed prior to submitting pool request. A refundable deposit of $100 will apply. This deposit is refundable at move out.

Priority Work Orders WHAT ARE THEY, AND HOW LONG IS THE RESPONSE TIME?

There are three types of priority work orders: Emergency, Urgent and Routine. Each priority has a different timeline when it comes to response times depending on the repair request. Examples of Priority Work Orders: Emergency Request (Response Time - 1 hour) : Sewer back-up, Fire, Damage to any gas or propane lines that could cause immediate risk for fire. Urgent Work Order (Response Time - 4 hours): Locked out of home, Inoperable refrigerator, water or utility outage. Routine Work Order (Response Time - Before the end of the next business day): Oven/range or dishwasher inoperable, no hot water or slow drainage.
