$3000 SCHOLARSHIP “The Spirt of Cooperation” Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative gives seven $3,000 scholarships to students in local school districts who are exceptional examples of “The Spirit of Cooperation”, a deeply ingrained value and driving force within the Touchstone Energy brand. Special consideration is given to need, extracurricular activities, community involvement, recommendations and the students’ personal achievements. Since 1990, over 100 scholarships have been awarded to students who fit these criteria, exhibit a positive attitude, and possess a good reputation within their respective communities.

Lecture Series Lexington Medical Center is pleased to present a monthly lecture series featuring physicians speaking about medical topics that are important to our community.

Healing the Heel Latest Treatments for Chronic Heel Pain Applications for 2016 will be available January 4, 2016 - March 4, 2016 and may be obtained through guidance counselors at each of the participating high schools or by downloading from mcecoop.com. The scholarship is open to any senior attending the following high schools: Irmo, Dutch Fork, Chapin, Saluda, Batesburg/Leesville, Lexington, White Knoll, Pelion, Springhill High, Gilbert or Airport. The scholarship is also made available to any in-state student whose primary residence receives electricity from Mid-Carolina Electric.
