FISHING REPORT Lake Murray:

Catfish: Fair. Captain Chris Simpson reports that this is a transition period on Lake Murray, which means the fish are scattered out and unpredictable. Some fish are starting to move deeper while some are still holding in very

[Mike and I] got into it right behind the goal post and my [head] strap broke; my head was pinned and here's Mike literally humping my head. ESPN got me on camera. I got up and he let me go and I ran all the way down and grabbed a LSU Golden Girl and began running with her all the way down to the 20. By then half the band was coming after me.”

Longstreet said he hopes to return for Homecoming this year to meet up with past cheerleaders and mascots and reminisce. He's wistful that Emma can't be here to witness potential history with her dad, and the fact that he won't be able to pass on cheerleading to his daughter.

Regardless, he looks forward to many more golden Saturdays this season and MSU's shot at the crown.

“A bowl game was the highest achievement that a college at my level was able to get to,” he said. “But the fact that we might actually win a championship on the national level is pretty awesome.”

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with identical complaints.

Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement. The first patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The second sees the family doctor after waiting a week for an appointment, then waits eighteen weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn’t reviewed for another month and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The first is a Golden Retriever... ...the second is a Senior Citizen.

He hangs up, and the son immediately calls his sister in the Hamptons and tells her the news. The sister says, “I’ll handle this!”

She calls Florida and says to her father, “Don’t do ANYTHING until me and my Brother get there! We’ll be there Wednesday night.”

The father agrees. He hangs up the phone and hollers to his wife, “Okay, they’re coming for Thanksgiving. Now, what are we going to tell them for Christmas?”

Who Should Be Screened?

Memory screening is for anyone who is experiencing memory loss, confusion or the warning signs of dementia. It is for those who may be at risk due to family history of Alzheimer’s Disease or other related illnesses and for those whose family or friends may be seeing changes in behavior.
