MCEC’s Touchstone Energy

Scholarships Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative offers Touchstone Energy Scholarships to high school seniors within our service areas. Seven $3,000 scholarships are given by Mid-Carolina Electric to students in local school districts who are exceptional examples of “The Spirit of Cooperation”, a deeply-ingrained value and driving force within the Touchstone Energy brand. Special consideration is given to need, extracurricular activities, community involvement, recommendations and the students’ personal achievements.

DEADLINE IS MARCH 1, 2018

The scholarship is open to any senior attending the following high schools: IRMO, DUTCH FORK, CHAPIN, SALUDA, BATESBURG/LEESVILLE, LEXINGTON, WHITE KNOLL, PELION, GILBERT, BROOKLAND-CAYCE, SPRING HILL OR AIRPORT.

The scholarships are also available to any in-state student whose primary residence receives electricity from Mid-Carolina Electric. Applications for 2018 may be obtained through guidance counselors at each of the participating high schools or on our website: www.mcecoop.com
