It is in those early morning hours – before the rest of the house awakens – that some of the best quiet moments can be had. Wrapping your hands around a warm cup of coffee on the porch or watching soft light filter through the curtains and savoring those last moments under a fluffy, warm duvet. FIRST STOP: JACK´S COFFEE
Step out for a cup of coffee at one of the Hampton’s most beloved morning spots. Jack’s – located in the small town of Amagansett – is a charming and rustic spot that serves up the shop’s award-winning stir-brewed java. Crowds pack inside each morning for a cup, surrounded by old buoys and huge hunks of seabattered driftwood. Once you’ve got a piping hot cup in hand, step outside and sip slowly to enjoy the people watching.

FIRST STOP: GUILD HALL, EAST HAMPTON
Guild Hall, located on Main Street in East Hampton, is arguably the primary cultural center of the Hamptons. With its prestigious exhibitions, theater performances, lectures and benefits, Guild Hall is an important and beloved institution in this tight-knit community. As a part of the community, Lexington is proud to support Guild Hall, participating in some of the events that have been a tradition here since 1931.
The perfect Weekend
WINERIES BY THE OCEAN The perfect Hamptons day: spend the morning by the beach, and the afternoon visiting a few local vineyards. This farm region by the Atlantic coast is smattered with wineries run by families, couples and friends, who personally run intimate tastings. Garden GATHERINGS This is the time of year for intimate, jovial dinner parties in the garden. Table linens in a charming mix of plaid, chambray and stripes give the gathering a warm, personal feel. And simple yet elegant ceramics let the focus be where it should – on the meal itself.
AMAGANSETT FARMER´S MARKET
Fresh from the farm There is no better spot in the Hamptons to buy fresh, locally grown produce than the Amagansett Farmer´s Market. Just off the main road (on the left-hand side going toward Montauk) lies this big farm stand that sells everything from vegetables, fruit and meats to freshly baked bread and artisanal cheeses. If you’re planning a garden dinner party, this is your first stop.
Decorate the table with fresh-from-the-garden wildflowers that match the colorful linens, and a tin bucket filled with ice to keep drinks cold and close by.

THE POOL In mid-april, when the crisp morning breezes turn warm, and the sun’s mild rays turn hot – summer has finally arrived. It’s the time for long, lazy days and nights where there is no agenda or must-dos – the time is simply yours to spend as you like. This season, we found our inspiration in the natural colors of our backyard – the aquamarine color of the pool and the wildflowers that bloom in the garden. Soft airy bedding in natural hues makes balmy summer nights comfortable. And after lingering over breakfast the pool awaits, where luxurious terry-cloth beach towels in shades of blue, red and beige adorn poolside lounge chairs. ENDLESS Beaches SANDY SPOTS IN THE HAMPTONS Hamptons’ beaches all share that special mix of rolling dunes, smooth sand, and cobalt blue skies. Ditch Plains is a surfer’s beach at the tip of Long Island in Montauk. With beautiful cliffs and a famed 200-year-old lighthouse, it is a popular beach for surfers and sand lovers alike. Travel a bit further west to Atlantic Avenue beach, just a short walk from Amagansett’s main square. Along with a wide expanse of beach, it offers a food stand to rival the region’s other famous beachside food stops. For a truly spectacular Atlantic Ocean panorama, Two Mile Hollow is your beach.
Perfect Beach Moment RUSTIC CHARM AT ”THE END” When the roads snaking out at the end of the Hamptons narrow to just a two-lane highway, you know you’re close. Montauk is the spot, and it lies at the farthest end of Long Island. Long favored by surfers, “the End” is known for its raw Atlantic swells and charming local feel. It is a place that has the sophistication of the Hamptons but still maintains its rustic heritage.

COOLING WATER BY SEA OR LAND The allure of the water in the Hamptons is undeniable. The deep, warm blue of the Atlantic is inviting on days when the sand becomes too hot to bear. And the soft rippling of the pool’s water is calming in a way that few other places are. This movement and color of water in the Hamptons was the inspiration for the hues and patterns in our bedding collection.
In between dips in the pool, wrap yourself in a soft, knit cotton throw and relax in a lounge chair – preferably with a good summer book and a cool beverage.

SUMMER LOBSTER FEAST Lobster is a luxury best enjoyed in the embrace of a warm breeze, surrounded by friends. And one of our favorite spots in the Hamptons is the nearly 50-year-old Lobster Roll restaurant located on the highway just before Montauk. Either pop by to try their famous lobster roll sandwich or buy some steamed lobster to enjoy with a cold glass of wine in the garden at home.
Many Hamptons’ ports offer charter fishing trips. Spend an afternoon on the water catching some fresh fish to serve at a garden barbeque that same night.
