Responsibilit ies:

Instruct semi-private tennis lessons (2-4 participants/class) for children and adults of all abilities. Emphasis will be on more personal interaction and individualized instruction than in a group lesson. Lessons will be 60 minutes in length and each session will consist of 4 lessons. Lesson dates and times will be discussed between the instructor and Assistant Director of Recreation. Period of Em ploym ent : Spring, Summer, and Fall 2022 Salary & Hours: negotiable

Responsible for overseeing league games for both our summer boys and girls 3v3 basketball league and our coed softball league. Making sure referees, scorekeepers and equipment are on site for each basketball game. Ensuring the coed softball games have an umpire on site and teams are playing within the rules of the league. Will work with the Recreation Supervisor to handle any issues and communicating information that comes up during the games. Period of Em ploym ent : Softball: May - August 2022 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) Basketball: June-July 2022 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Salary & Hours: $18.00/hour; 6-14 hours/week

The department offers a variety of sport clinics throughout the summer. Sport clinics offered may include the following: girls basketball, boys basketball, softball, multi-sports, track, street hockey, volleyball, badminton, skateboarding, junior golf, boys lacrosse, and girls lacrosse. Clinics vary from a half-day program (8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) to a full-day program (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). ***Clinic Aide is the position available for all clinics. Applicants may note a particular sport of interest on their application, however, it does not guarantee assignment in that sport. Individuals hired will be placed in the best suitable position based on experience or knowledge. Position is not necessarily for the entire summer.

Sports to be offered include, but are not limited to: badminton, boys basketball, boys lacrosse, floor hockey, girls basketball, girls lacrosse, golf, multi-sports, skateboarding, softball, track & field, and volleyball.
