Responsibilit ies: Ensures safety and overall quality of two licensed day camps. Referee/ Scorekeeper
Qualificat ions:
- Minimum 14 years of age - Knowledge or experience playing basketball - Mature, responsible, and dependable Responsibilit ies:
Referees for league games assuring fairness at all times. Record accurate scores in score book; manage game clock, maintains equipment used on-site. Attend to other related duties as needed. Period of Em ploym ent : Mid-June ? August 2022, Monday through Thursday (game times are 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.) Salary & Hours: $15.50/$13.50 for one-hour game; 2-3 hours/day
Support Aid II

Responsibilit ies:
Aides the program staff in supporting participants of all abilities. Working with the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and program director to create an inclusive environment where participants can thrive. Provides direct support to participants with disabilities within programs. May be asked to oversee a group of participants and assist with program-related tasks and assist staff with inclusion practices at the discretion of the CTRSor program director. Reports directly to the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Period of Em ploym ent : June 21 ? Aquat ics Manager
Qualificat ions:
- Minimum 21 years of age - Valid Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification or YMCA Lifeguard certification (includes Standard First Aid or Community First Aid and Safety - Valid Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification - Valid Red Cross or American Heart CPRfor the Professional Rescuer CPR- FPR) certification - Previous employment with this department at the aquatic facilities or supervisory experience at another waterfront facility or equal is preferred - Experience with staff management & supervisory skills - Ability to resolve any issues with either the public or staff - Ability to foster an inclusive environment for patrons and staff Responsibilit ies:
Oversees the day-to-day operations at the aquatic facilities. Schedules, supervises, and evaluates all aquatics staff. Facilitates in-service training program. Enforces safety rules , regulations and inclusion practices. Performs facility and custodial work as needed and other related duties as assigned. Wat er Safet y Inst ruct or

Instruct Red Cross swim lessons and lifeguard. Assists with special programs including swim team, aqua-aerobics, sensory swim instruction, diving classes, and adult swim instruction. Performs facility, custodial and light maintenance work (trash pick-up, cleaning locker rooms, raking beach, etc.) as needed and other related duties as assigned. Works under the direction and supervision of Head Lifeguard on duty and Aquatics Manager. Period of Em ploym ent : June 27 ? August 19, 2022 Salary & Hours: $15.00/hour; 35-40 hours/week
Wat er Safet y Inst ruct or Aide
Qualificat ions:
- Minimum 14 years of age, completion of grade 9 preferred - Valid Standard First Aid and CPR/AED certification - Valid Water Safety Instructor Aide certification recommended Responsibilit ies:
Assists swimming instructors with lessons Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. May perform light maintenance duties as needed. Will work at least three of the four two-week sessions. Works under the direction and supervision of the Water Safety Instructor in charge of class and Aquatics Manager.
