Minimum 21 years of age Possess a Bachelor ?s Degree in Education, Recreation, or related field Minimum two years of experience working with preschool, elementary, and middle school children Leadership experience in day camp and preschool setting working with children of all abilities Valid Massachusetts driver ?s license Valid First Aid/CPR and AED Certification Supervisory ability and experience Knowledge of a variety of recreation activities for children ages 3 to 14 Proven oral and written communication skills Ability to foster an inclusive environment within all programs and promote inclusion practices Behavior management skills
Respon sibilit ies: Ensures safety and overall quality of two licensed day camps. Responsible for all aspects of the camp programs including the day-to-day operation of both camps, staff training, staff hiring recommendations, coordinating transportation, program schedules, developing and implementing appropriate activities for children age three through entering grade six, communicating with families, evaluations, record keeping, and other related duties as assigned. Checks-in at all clinics or programs where needed. Reports to the Assistant Director or Director of Recreation and Community Programs.

Respon sibilit ies: Referees for league games assuring fairness at all times. Record accurate scores in score book; manage game clock, maintains equipment used on-site. Attend to other related duties as needed.
Per iod of Em ploym en t : Mid-June ? August 2022, Monday through Thursday (game times are 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.)
Salar y & Hou r s: $15.50/$13.50 for one-hour game; 2-3 hours/day

Respon sibilit ies: Aides the program staff in supporting participants of all abilities. Working with the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and program director to create an inclusive environment where participants can thrive. Provides direct support to participants with disabilities within programs. May be asked to oversee a group of participants and assist with program-related tasks and assist staff with inclusion practices at the discretion of the CTRS or program director. Reports directly to the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
