In the ever-changing world of global communication, Liberty’s graduates are prepared for careers in teaching, counseling, and leadership using 21st-century school settings and tools. We offer both licensure and nonlicensure tracks in education to help you meet your teaching requirements.
C URRENT ONLINE PR O GR A MS: Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education (A.A.) Associate of Arts in Education (A.A.) Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education Interdisciplinary Studies (B.S.) Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Interdisciplinary Studies (B.S.) Bachelor of Science in Special Education Interdisciplinary Studies (B.S.) These current online programs are nonlicensure, but graduates can enroll in our online Master of Arts in Teaching after graduation to obtain their license.
C URRENT LICENSURE PR O GR A MS: Elementary Education (B.Ed.) Middle Education – English (B.Ed.) Middle Education – Math (B.Ed.) Middle Education – Science (B.Ed.) Middle Education – Social Sciences (B.Ed.) Special Education (B.Ed.) These B.Ed. programs are online and residential and approved in the state of Virginia for teacher licensure upon graduation.
