20TH ANNIVERSARY AND 50 INVESTORS OF SCOTCH WHISKY INVESTMENTS IN MONTENEGRO

Scotland’s water of life was celebrated in Montenegro this May in Luštica Bay. Creators of the whisky investment concept, the renowned Dutch company Scotch Whisky Investment, decided to mark its 20th anniversary in Montenegro, anchored with its Southeast Europe office in the new Adriatic integrated town - Luštica Bay. The SWI gathered 50 members of the exclusive Scotch Whisky Investors Club, who got to know Montenegro and its investment potentials, firsthand.

Tafilj Marković, General Director of Scotch Whisky Investments Montenegro was particularly proud of the initiative: “I am very pleased that 50 investors gathered from more than 20 countries of the region, the European Union, and even the US. Scotch Whisky Investments is celebrating its jubilee with extraordinary results behind them: managing a whisky portfolio worth 170 million euros, with 30% of the total amount of whisky being older than 25 years in the world“.

Mr. Marković especially emphasized the fact that Scotch Whisky Investments gathered 50 people in one place in Montenegro, most of whom are visiting Montenegro for the first time, and many of them are already planning their return. “The intention of Scotch Whisky Investments was to also contribute to the promotion of Montenegro as a significant international investment hub, and the event confirmed that this region should be perceived and promoted as an important and flourishing investment destination long term,” concluded Marković.

Mr. Dušan Simić, an investor from Scotch Whisky Investments Montenegro, also shared his impressions: “I have been following Scotch Whisky Investments in Montenegro since the beginning, and this weekend I decided to become a member of the Club“.

Staying in Luštica Bay, cruising the Bay of Kotor and enjoying an unforgettable gastronomic experience in Montenegro, investor and member of the Scotch Whisky Investments Club Mr. Denny Gieling said that being invited to the celebration is a great honor and an opportunity to spread the philosophy of the company through this event: „It’s pretty exclusive. At the same time, I enjoy connecting with other people from different backgrounds, here in this beautiful and unique environment, “he said.

Investors ended an unforgettable weekend in Montenegro with gathering at The Spot restaurant of The Chedi Luštica Bay Hotel, enjoying the Mediterranean cuisine and special editions of Scotch whisky and cigars. The general manager Mr. Jan Albers thanked Scotch Whisky Investments for providing a platform to create these magical moments.
