To tell us more about this fantastic opportunity, we spoke to Nikola Stanković, Luštica Bay’s rental manager guiding this program.
What rental packages do you have on offer as part of the Luštica Bay rental program, and which ones would you recommend making use of this winter?
We have prepared a number of winter and holiday offers a variety of tempting benefits for our valued community to make use of. Whether they want to book our apartments for the weekend or stay for longer, we are offering carefully tailored packages that include some of the following: early check in, an elegant breakfast at our amazing 21 Bistro, complimentary transfer to or from Tivat airport, 10-25% discount at selected retailers in the village such as MC2 by Tenero Fashion, Bogner or Home Glow. As part of the offer, children stay for free and can enjoy a 25% discount at the Kids Club. Furthermore, as always, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi, bottled water and coffee making facilities in all our apartments.
Today, the rental pool has quite a number of rental units, ranging from one bedroom to two-bedroom apartments, as well as townhouses, with all being on offer as part of the long and short term packages. Can you give us any more information about these properties?
Our rental pool currently has 60 apartments in the program and is expecting at least a 20-30% increase in these numbers by next summer. So far 54 apartments from the Marina Village and six from Centrale are a part of the program. Our apartment categories range from beautiful spacious studios to grandeous three-bedroom apartments and town houses, with sea views surrounded by the beautiful untouched nature of Luštica Bay.
All apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, terrace or balcony and all the trappings of a luxury hotel such as high speed Wi-Fi, bathroom amenities, complimentary bottled water and coffee making facilities.
It is important to highlight that the rental aspect is only part of the program, and that the rental team of Luštica Bay is an incredibly important part of the hospitality sector, offering a personalized approach to each guest?
The rental program in Luštica Bay is much more than simply a program for renting apartments. We offer tailor-made experiences to all our guests at a unique destination with a lot to offer. Aside from our beautiful spacious apartments, Luštica Bay Rentals offers many benefits to its guests such as access to all three of our fantastic private beaches, private cluster pools, our buggy shuttle service throughout the Marina Village, a van shuttle service for our valued Centrale guests, access to the Kids Club at a discounted rate, gorgeous breakfast options at the 21 Bistro, discounts on purchases at selected retailers in the Village and so much more. Furthermore, our guests can enjoy a variety of activities, especially during summer, when our events team works tirelessly to provide a variety of activities and a rich program where everyone can find something to their liking. Additionally, our guests have exclusive access to all of Luštica Bay’s recreation facilities including basketball courts, volleyball courts, the recreation park and our soon-to-be-opened tennis courts and three hole golf course.
Do you see that the trend of those who, through the rental program also opt for an oasis for working remotely, growing?
In previous years we have seen an increase in the number of people who have used the opportunity to work remotely while enjoying the mild climate, privacy and beauty that are a part of Luštica Bay throughout the year. Aside from renting apartments short term, we also get a lot of inquiries about long term renting which we also provide year round.
It is not a rarity that many guest who come to Luštica for a couple of days or longer, having rented a residential unit, later on decide to buy real estate here. Why do you think that is?
Having a unique location and being a project of great value, Luštica Bay is held in high regard among the luxury marinas and estates in Montenegro and region, thus people who come and experience its beauty for a short period become enchanted with the project, the spectacular surrounding nature and the opportunities that lie in Luštica Bay, and simply decide that this is the place to belong. We have had many buyers coming to the rental department looking for apartments either to get the feel of life in Luštica or simply to start enjoying their new home even before their own apartment is finished. This rental program and rental team undoubtedly represent a great support to all the homeowners in Luštica, looking to rent their homes while they are away. What are the principal reasons as to why they decide to become part of the program?
Our rental team makes sure that all apartments in the program are well taken care of in addition to being rented throughout the year. Even when they are not in the village and in full control of what happens in the destination, homeowners can rest assured that the team will advise them of all relevant activities and conduct business in their best interest. This most certainly is one of the main reasons why people decide to entrust their property to the team.
