A Cry for Help

Consider my groans. 2 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, For I am praying to you. 3 In the morning you hear my voice, O L; In the morning I lay my prayersb before you; And then I wait. 4 For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness. Evil does not dwell in you; 5 The arrogant do not stand before your eyes; You hate all who do evil; 6 You destroy those who tell lies; You, the L, abhor men of bloodshed and deceit. 7 As for me, I enter your house only because of your abundant lovingkindness; I bow down in fear toward your holy temple. 8 Guide me, O L, in your righteousness because of my enemies;

Make your way straight before me.
