WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY?

I’ve admired the Swedish Mrs Mighetto prints for some time now, with their dreamy watercolours and gorgeous characters. When the opportunity for the Sleepy eyed bunny shoot developed, I immediately wanted to incorporate the soft shades of grey and pink to create a whimsical and magical Easter party. After seeing the divine creations from Arabella’s Vintage Wardrobe and Coco blush boutique, I knew they would help me create the dreamy effect I wanted. My love of backdrops, balloons and deluxe furniture gave the party a mix of current party trends and old world charm.

Choosing a colour palette that reflects your tastes and style, but also works in with the theme you’ve selected is paramount to creating a party you love. With all the online boutiques and party supplies, there are a plethora of items available to suit any theme! I tend to stick to complementary colours and usually add a hint of metallics to give it that extra sparkle. Fresh flowers and greenery are always lovely and if you’re a green thumb, you might even be lucky enough to have some in your garden! I love a bit of DIY, so if you can’t afford it or can’t find what you’re looking for, have a go at making things yourself.
