Not only is the Women in Business & Regional Development (WiBRD) running their popular scholarship program again this year, they are also adding a new category, as the networking and advocacy group looks to continue to foster entrepreneurial women through the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria. The Business Booster & Entrepreneurial Scholarship program was inaugurated in 2017 and has assisted women across a diverse range of business
opportunities. Applications for the 2021 program are now open with the addition of the new category – Women who Lead – a category aimed at established business women who are looking to take things up a notch. Women in Business & Regional Development (WiBRD) board chair Jacinta Jones said the scholarships perfectly aligned with the mandate of the network. See inside for full story

The power of his passion Luke Patrick might have come home to Naracoorte to catch up with his family but he has also used the time back in the Limestone Coast to share his expertise and give back to the community where he grew up. The successful actor is in the throes of running a program
as part of Naracoorte’s pilot Wellbeing Program and he is loving bringing drama and the life skills it fosters back to his hometown. Returning home to foster a theatrical culture had long been on Luke’s to do list and in the end, it was COVID that presented
the opportunity to do just that. “I had said to mum and dad that I would love to set something up here when I come home and now I am here I thought I might as well do something,” Luke said. See inside for full story
