THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE SHOULD BE AT HOME...

Investment

Investment goes far beyond just financial markets; it's a multi-pronged approach to enhancing our lives and communities. Sure, monetary investments are vital; however, focusing solely on them limits our potential for overall growth.

I have teenage children. From the time they were toddlers, my husband and I have tried to help them see the big picture. Life is made up of millions of choices. We can’t do everything, so we need to invest time and resources in places that will improve our lives and the lives of others.

Investing money wisely—placing funds in stocks, bonds, real estate or other assets that will grow over time—can offer financial stability and independence, allowing us to pursue passions with fewer monetary concerns.

Investing in our community— volunteer efforts, local business support and participation in projects close to home—builds a stronger, more vibrant community.

Self-investment is perhaps the most rewarding. Whether it's enrolling in a course, adopting a fitness routine or setting aside time for mental well-being, investing in ourselves lays the foundation for long-term success and happiness.

Nurturing relationships with family, friends, and colleagues is another invaluable form of investment. Strong relationships provide emotional support, enhance our well-being, and create a sense of fulfillment.

It's all about a balanced approach.

This issue of Colorado Springs Lifestyle Magazine shines a light on investment.

Read about a Colorado bank that was established in 1963 and, although one of the largest privately held banks within the country now, still operates on its original principle of “banking for good.”

Polaris Dawn Mission Team Receives Prestigious Award for Exceptional Achievements in Space Exploration and Discovery

Historic. Ambitious. Innovative. Pioneering. Collaborative.

The Polaris Dawn mission rewrote the rules of space exploration and, in doing so, earned its team the Space Foundation's prestigious John L. “Jack” Swigert Jr. Award for Space Exploration.

In a wide-ranging interview, Sarah Gillis, mission specialist and one of the four crew members of the Polaris Dawn mission, shares her thoughts on the honor of participating, the experience of completing the first commercial spacewalk, the future of space exploration and more.

WHAT DOES THIS PARTICULAR AWARD MEAN TO YOU?

Receiving the John L. "Jack" Swigert, Jr., Award for Space Exploration is an incredible honor—not just for me, but for the entire Polaris and SpaceX team. This mission pushed the boundaries of human spaceflight—flying farther from Earth than anyone since the Apollo missions, conducting the first commercial spacewalk to test new EVA suits, demonstrating space-based laser communications, and advancing research for future long-duration missions. Space exploration has always been a collective effort, and this award is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and teamwork that made this mission possible.

BY ASHLEY HAMERSHOCK
PHOTOGRAPHY BY JOHN KRAUS, JARED

WHY WAS THE POLARIS DAWN MISSION SPECIAL?

Polaris Dawn was special because it combined groundbreaking science and technology with the human experience of space exploration. We conducted the first commercial spacewalk, tested laser communications from orbit, and carried out medical research that will help future astronauts on long-duration missions. But beyond the technical achievements, this mission was also about inspiration and connection—showing that space isn’t just for a select few, but for all of us. One of the most personal moments for me was playing the violin in microgravity with youth orchestras all around the world, a reminder that exploration isn’t just about science—it’s about bringing humanity into space. Whether through music, innovation, or scientific discovery, Polaris Dawn demonstrated what’s possible when we push boundaries and dream bigger.

WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR TRAINING AND HOW DID YOU OVERCOME IT?

Training for the spacewalk was incredibly rigorous, requiring intense physical, mental, and technical preparation. In addition to simulation training in pressurized suits, we incorporated high-altitude mountaineering, scuba diving, and skydiving to refine our adaptability in extreme environments. One of the most valuable experiences was training at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, where we completed

their Basic Freefall Parachuting Course—the only course in the country where your first jump is solo. It was a true test of executing procedures under pressure, and one of the best preparations for opening the hatch in space. Jumping out of an airplane for the first time was nerve-wracking, but overcoming those fears came down to repetition, teamwork, and trust—knowing that every drill and challenge was building the confidence we needed for the mission.

DESCRIBE HOW IT FELT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST COMMERCIAL SPACEWALK WITH JARED ISAACMAN.

Floating outside the spacecraft was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The sheer vastness of space, the total darkness, and the faint glow of Earth’s horizon created a feeling that was both exhilarating and humbling. I’ve never felt so keenly aware of how small we are in the scale of the universe, yet at the same time, so deeply connected to the team that made the moment possible. I wasn’t just thinking about the technical aspects of the spacewalk, but about the countless engineers and trainers who prepared us for this moment. There were four of us at vacuum together, each responsible for the other’s safety, and the sense of trust and teamwork was profound. It was an experience I’ll never forget, and one that reinforced just how much spaceflight is built on the efforts of so many.

THE POLARIS DAWN CREW ACCOMPLISHED MANY OTHER “FIRSTS,” INCLUDING SETTING A RECORD FOR WOMEN TRAVELING FARTHEST FROM EARTH – WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

This record is exciting, but it’s just one step in a much larger journey. Space exploration is still in its early days, and there are so many more firsts to achieve—the first women to go even farther, to walk on the Moon again, and eventually to set foot on Mars. Breaking records isn’t about being the last to hold them; it’s about opening the door for the next generation to push even further. I can’t wait to see who comes next and how much farther they will go!

THIS WASN’T JUST AN UP-AND-BACK TRIP. PLEASE TELL US ABOUT SOME KEY EXPERIMENTS AND TECHNOLOGY FROM THIS MISSION AND HOW THEY WILL CONTRIBUTE TO FUTURE SPACE MISSIONS.

Polaris Dawn was designed to advance both science and technology in ways that will directly impact future space missions. One of the mission’s key advancements was the development and testing of a new, more cost-effective EVA suit—an essential step toward a future where hundreds or even thousands of people live and work in space. We also tested laser-based internet connectivity aboard Dragon for the first time, successfully transmitting data between spacecraft traveling at 17,500 mph—technology that could transform deep-space communications. In addition, we conducted nearly 40 scientific experiments focused on preparing humans for long-duration spaceflight, including studies on Space Adaptation Syndrome, Spaceflight-Associated Neuroocular Syndrome (SANS), and other critical medical challenges astronauts will face on extended missions beyond Earth.

IN THE PAST, SPACE EXPLORATION WAS DONE PRIMARILY BY CAREER ASTRONAUTS. HOW DOES INVOLVING CIVILIANS CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE?

It’s a necessary evolution of space exploration. For humanity to truly live and work in space long-term, we must move beyond spaceflight being limited to a select few. The commercial space industry is paving the way for a future where space travel is not just for astronauts, but for thousands of people—scientists, engineers, medical professionals, and explorers from all backgrounds. If we envision a future where humanity lives among the stars, that future must be for all of us.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE YOUNG PEOPLE TAKE AWAY FROM THIS MISSION, AND WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ASPIRING ASTRONAUTS OR SPACE EXPLORERS?

I hope young people see that space is for everyone and feel as excited about the future of exploration as I do! Whether your passion is science, engineering, music, or medicine, there’s a place for you in space. We are living at the dawn of a new era—the second golden age of space exploration—where more people than ever can contribute to shaping humanity’s future beyond Earth. My advice? Stay curious, work hard, and don’t be afraid to pursue all your interests. Space needs more than just astronauts—it needs artists, innovators, and problem-solvers to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

HOW DO YOU SEE THE ROLE OF PRIVATE SPACE COMPANIES LIKE SPACEX HELPING SHAPE THE FUTURE OF SPACE EXPLORATION AND POSSIBLY MAKING SPACE TRAVEL MORE ACCESSIBLE TO CIVILIANS?

Private space companies are rapidly changing the landscape of space exploration. They’re making missions more frequent, cost-effective, and driving new technology development.

Polaris Dawn is proof that commercial crews can take on ambitious missions, contribute meaningful science, and push human spaceflight forward.

WILL YOU BE ATTENDING THE SPACE FOUNDATION’S 40TH ANNUAL SPACE SYMPOSIUM?

Yes! I’m looking forward to hearing from so many different parts of industry, and to being back in my home state of Colorado!

HOW HAS THAT ORGANIZATION HELPED ADVANCE THE GLOBAL SPACE COMMUNITY?

The Space Foundation has been instrumental in bringing together the global space community, fostering collaboration between government agencies, private industry, and academia. By creating platforms like the Space Symposium, they help drive discussions on cutting-edge technology, policy, and the future of exploration.

WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE FOR READERS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU, THE POLARIS DAWN MISSION, OR THE FUTURE OF SPACE EXPLORATION?

Space is for everyone. Polaris Dawn pushed the boundaries of what’s possible, but it’s just the beginning. The research, technology, and milestones we’re achieving today are laying the foundation for a future where more people—scientists, engineers, explorers, and dreamers—can contribute to spaceflight. The dream of exploring space is no longer limited to a select few; we are at the dawn of a new era where space is becoming more accessible, and the possibilities ahead are limitless. It’s an exciting time to be part of this journey!

Banking for Good

FirstBank: Placing Long-Term Vision over Short-Term Profits

A person is a product of their community. Their neighbors, cultural norms, local government, school systems, and societal expectations all lead to interactions that play a formative role in shaping how one thinks, acts, and perceives the world around them. Building up their community through opportunity is what led George and Everett Williams to found FirstBank (then called First Westland National Bank) in Lakewood, Colo., in 1963. They focused on creating public and private partnerships with other organizations to bridge the gap for Colorado customers to finance their dreams and goals.

COMMUNITY BANK FEEL

They have grown to the second largest bank by deposit in the state of Colorado and one of the largest privately held banks within the country. This has given FirstBank the ability to focus on long-term vision instead of shortterm profits to provide a community bank feel with the horsepower of a full banking suite. The diversification of a typical banking experience is what they excel in, focusing on meeting customer needs with a focus on how customers want to be banked. They offer both virtual and on-site banking options, they are available evenings and weekends and have invested in a 24-hour call center to create a personalized experience.

Jake Wuest, market president at FirstBank in Colorado Springs, explains that the vision

ARTICLE BY ROCHELLE REEDER

PHOTOGRAPHY BY FIRSTBANK

is the same more than 40 years later: “To bolster economic growth and financial literacy across the communities we serve.”

They offer financial literacy classes and can walk consumers through the homebuying process in almost 50 different languages. Additionally, their officers are not paid on commission, so they are able to focus on what is best for the customer in every transaction.

DIVERSIFIED ECONOMY + BUILDING WEALTH

Wuest explains how Colorado has seen a strong net migration over the last ten years as people are seeking a better quality of life. This in turn attracts employers allowing for growth as well as a diversified economy. Over the years, there have been fluctuations in interest rates, inflation, property tax and more that have affected consumers. FirstBank has seen these fluctuations, but maintains that homeownership and real estate investment are still some of the best ways to build wealth. Understanding this has led them to be on the front

lines, empowering their community toward that goal.

FirstBank is part of the Colorado Bankers Association working to affect legislation and making bankers aware of what is coming so they are able to advocate for affordable housing and employment growth. They have been active in recognizing the challenges for consumers specific to this community and have a historic reputation for doing what they can to increase affordable housing opportunities as well as economic development. They have developed and maintained relationships with CHFA (Colorado Housing and Finance Authority), Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust, and Habitat for Humanity to work to make homeownership more attainable.

“As Colorado’s real estate market evolves, FirstBank remains committed to helping buyers, investors and homeowners succeed. From down payment assistance to flexible lending solutions, FirstBank provides the tools to make homeownership more accessible.”

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS

Catering to the investment needs of their neighbors and focusing on banking for good is what FirstBank and their team consider to be the most solid investment in their community.

“You are likely to run into your bankers in the grocery store, on the trails or on the soccer field,” Wuest says. “We are a part of the community and are doing all we can within our specialty to support our neighbors in every stage of their lives with our local team of experts.”

TOP 5 SOCIAL SECURITY QUESTIONS ANSWERED FOR SENIORS 55 AND OLDER

Maximize your

Retirement Dreams

Understanding Social Security becomes crucial for managing retirement finances as we approach our later years. If you’re 55 or older, you may have questions about how your benefits will work. Below are five of the most common Social Security questions for seniors and straightforward answers.

1. WHEN SHOULD I START CLAIMING SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS?

This is one of the most important questions; the answer depends on your situation. You can begin receiving benefits as early as age 62. Still, the amount will be reduced if you claim before your full retirement age (FRA). Your FRA depends on your birth year and ranges from 66 to 67 years old. If you wait until age 70 to claim, your benefits will be higher because they will increase by 8% for each year you delay after FRA.

If you are still working at 62, your benefits could be further reduced due to the Social Security Earnings Test, which limits the amount you can earn before your benefits are momentarily reduced. (often called earnings restriction)

2. WHAT HAPPENS IF I CONTINUE WORKING WHILE RECEIVING SOCIAL SECURITY?

Working while receiving Social Security can affect your benefits, especially if you claim before reaching FRA. If you’re under FRA, your benefits may be reduced if you earn more than the annual earnings limit (for 2025, this limit is $21,240). Once you reach FRA, however, there is no earnings limit, and your full benefits are restored.

Suppose your benefits are reduced due to work. In that case, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will recalculate your benefits when you reach FRA to ensure you’re compensated for the months’ benefits were withheld.

3. WILL MY SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS BE TAXED?

Social Security benefits can be taxed only if your income exceeds a certain threshold. The Social Security Administration will base your taxability on your combined income, which includes your adjusted gross income, nontaxable interest, and half of your Social Security benefits.

CONTINUED >

For single filers, if your combined income is between $25,000 and $34,000, up to 50% of your benefits may be taxed. If your combined income exceeds $34,000, up to 85% of your benefits may be taxed. These thresholds for married couples filing jointly are $32,000 and $44,000, respectively.

4.

SHOULD I AGREE WITH MY SPOUSE ABOUT WHEN TO TAKE THE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFIT?

Discussing when to take Social Security benefits with your spouse is essential, as the decision can affect your financial future. You and your spouse should consider factors such as your current financial situation, life expectancy, and health, as these will influence the best time to start benefits. If one spouse plans to continue working or has a longer life expectancy, delaying benefits for higher payouts might make sense. Also, taking benefits earlier or later might impact survivor benefits in the future. Ultimately, aligning your decision with your long-term financial goals and needs can help ensure a more secure retirement for both of you.

5.

WHAT IF I HAVEN’T WORKED LONG ENOUGH TO QUALIFY FOR SOCIAL SECURITY?

You may still be eligible for Social Security through your spouse’s or ex-spouse’s record if you haven’t worked enough to earn the required 40 credits (usually about 10 years of work). If you’re a widow or widower, you may be able to claim benefits based on your late spouse’s work history as early as age 60 (or 50 if you’re disabled).

Understanding Social Security is vital for planning your retirement. Stay informed, and don’t hesitate to contact the SSA for help. It’s never too late to start planning!

WHAT REALLY MATTERS

Story Ranch + RM Soap Market: Empowering People with Disabilities

ARTICLE BY ASHLEY HAMERSHOCK
PHOTOGRAPHY BY STORY RANCH

It takes a village.

Bit by bit, Tony and Beth Feltman are building that village—one they hope will better the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for years to come.

The Feltmans’ vision is multi-fold and includes a ranch, a boutique soap business, a social group, an opportunity for people with disabilities to own their own businesses and more. In short, they want to provide space for people with disabilities to live, work and play.

“What really matters in life is your faith, family and friends,” Tony says.

THE RANCH

In a little valley east of Monument sits a 40-acre property poised to make a big difference.

Called Story Ranch, this site has been the longtime dream of Tony and Beth, both of whom have siblings with special needs. Starting this summer, they plan to begin offering respite weekends for adults with disabilities to engage with animals, nature and each other.

They’ll work with horses, cook, garden, hike, craft and… rest. It will be a place where adults with disabilities can discover, develop and tell their stories.

For now, respite weekends will be private pay. They are starting slow with one weekend a month and will build from there, possibly also offering weekday respite in the future. The sprawling ranch can accommodate at least five guests. Phase two may offer an innovative permanent housing option for a handful of residents—stay tuned.

“It really is a passion,” Tony says.

The family also operates a social group for young adults and hopes to expand its reach in the near future.

RM SOAP MARKET

Meanwhile, RM Soap Market is the engine powering the vision. Opened as Rocky Mountain Soap Market in 2014, later sold to the Feltmans and rebranded RM Soap Market in 2024, the new name better represents what it stands for: Inspired by the Rocky Mountains; Shaped by what Really Matters. The business recently expanded and now has four locations in Colorado, Idaho and New Mexico.

“IT’S A LABOR OF LOVE. IF WE SELL SOAP, WE MAKE A HUGE IMPACT IN THIS COMMUNITY.”

A stroll through the retail shop on Tejon is a treat for the senses. Bubble bath, whipped soap, bath truffles, scrubs, lotions, powders, oils and more with scents like Mooseberry, Garden of the Gods and Black Forest. Feeling inspired? Saunter over to the body bar to create a one-of-akind product. Gather some friends, reserve the space and make an evening of it.

Don’t forget to check out the mens’ line and a new collection called RM Story that includes shampoos and conditioners. With

roughly 700 products, it’s tough to choose. Fortunately, it’s also tough to go wrong.

High quality. Small batch. And handcrafted at a factory right in Monument. At the moment, the 7,000-square-foot factory employs about nine people, including two with special needs. As the business grows, it has room to double. The hope is to eventually operate in 14,000 square feet and employ more people with disabilities.

“It’s a labor of love,” Tony says. “If we sell soap, we make a huge impact in this community.”

Asked how the Pikes Peak region can help advance the Feltmans’ vision, Tony says donations are always welcome, but the long-term plan is to be self-funding. “Buy soap,” he says, laughing. RM will donate $1 from every sale to organizations supporting special needs, including its

partner Story Ranch. The collaboration reflects their commitment to offering people with disabilities solutions that ensure ongoing care will last beyond the lifespan of their parents.

“We’ve built a pretty unique situation for people with disabilities,” Feltman says.

SHINE ON

And the latest… in March, RM Soap Market launched a new program that could enable special needs families to earn up to $19,000 annually without affecting Supplemental Security Income benefits.

Called “Shine On,” qualified families can create an affiliate page through the ‘MyRM’ Program. It’s a three-step process: 1. Set up a personalized soap sales page 2. Enroll in the commission program 3. Open an ABLE bank account for earnings, which can be used to pay for qualified disability expenses. Live. Work. Play.  (And buy soap.)

Kristen Coover has worked in the fashion industry for 30 years. Her passion for fashion led to her working with and buying for various retail stores and boutiques. Her experience provided the knowledge to consult others in opening their own stores. Inspired by her consulting work, Coover decided to open a boutique of her very own.

TWO CONCEPTS, ONE LOCATION

Hammond’s Delicatessen + The Seared Steer: Offering Fresh Smoked Meats and More

PHOTOGRAPHY BY HAMMOND'S DELICATESSEN

After a successful and award-winning 2024, Jered and Deidre Hammond of Chuckwagon 719 saw an opportunity to expand. Their smoked pastrami and steak nights became very popular and the demand inspired two new dining concepts: Hammond’s Delicatessen and The Seared Steer.

We thank each and every one of y’all for your continued support. It’s honestly a dream come true for us!

“Opening two new concepts allows us to produce even more pastrami and steak, among lots of other new options,” the Hammonds said via email.

To keep up with the demand of three separate dining concepts at two different locations, the Hammonds partnered with Ciera and Zach Romey. The Romeys help to manage the business side of things so the Hammonds can focus on the food. Along with marketing and helping with menu design, the Romeys also help with business and day-to-day operations for the new concepts.

THE NEW LOCATION

The Hammonds teamed up with Trails End Taproom to provide a dining space for their dual concept. Trails End offers a “pay by the ounce” wall of taps where patrons can fill their cups with craft beer, cider, wine or kombucha.

Located just one mile from Red Rocks Open Space and just over a mile from the Garden of the Gods, the location is a perfect spot for refueling after a day of outdoor fun.

HAMMOND’S DELICATESSEN

Opening at 11 am Wednesday through Sunday, customers can enjoy the Hammond’s Delicatessen concept until the meats are sold out.

The menu offers a variety of fresh smoked meats such as house-brined pastrami, roast beef, prime rib, brisket, turkey and chicken. Diners can choose from hot and cold sandwich options, rotating scratch-made soups and deli sides, as well as smoked meats by the pound.

If you’re a fan of charcuterie, there is a smoked charcuterie board available all day for both dining concepts. This board features a variety of smoked meats, cheeses, crackers, preserves and more.

>

THE SEARED STEER

Open from 4-10 pm Tuesday through Sunday, The Seared Steer requires a reservation to dine.

The menu offers hand-cut steaks, chicken-fried bison, smoked prime rib, baby back ribs and burgers. The steaks and burgers are slow-smoked and then seared over a real wood fire. Sides include baked potato, garlic mashed, fried okra, fried brussel sprouts and bacon green beans.

Enjoy fireside dining indoors and outdoor seating in the warmer months.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

When asked about future goals, The Hammonds plan to continue focusing on producing quality foods and keeping things fresh with new specials and seasonal options. Eventually, they would love to expand their deli and steakhouse concept to multiple locations.

“The support of this city has been nothing short of incredible,” they said. “We have met so many amazing people and created a bunch of wonderful friendships along the way. We are so thankful for all of it. We love having the opportunity to serve this great city and bring of a little bit of home with us here to Colorado Springs! We thank each and every one of y’all for your continued support. It’s honestly a dream come true for us!”

ELEVATE YOUR SPACE

Great home décor is so much more than aesthetics. It has the potential to enhance well-being, increase productivity and suit individual needs and preferences. Décor that combines form and function can add texture, color and comfort while optimizing the efficiency of a space.

Kristen Johnson of Nadora Home has always had a passion for home décor, furniture and interior design. As a teenager, she considered a degree in interior design, but ultimately chose the “safer route” and obtained a business degree in finance. While she has enjoyed her career in the financial sector, her love for creating beautiful spaces kept nudging her toward realizing a dream.

DEVISING A PLAN

After years of dreaming about a home décor and furniture store, Johnson began to research the possibility in 2022. She put her business degree to work and spent two years analyzing the markets, profitability, marketing and costs. She considered the possibility of a brick-and-mortar storefront, but decided that e-commerce was the most cost-effective business plan to start her journey.

Nadora Home: Thoughtfully Curated Home Décor & Entertainment Provisions

PHOTOGRAPHY BY KIRA WHITNEY PHOTOGRAPHY & NICOLE PRIEST PHOTOGRAPHY

In 2023 Johnson selected a name for her store.

“I was just sitting there and the name  Nadora  just came to me,” Johnson says. “It means beautiful gift in Greek. The name was perfect and I was so excited!”

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Two years of patience, hard work and support from family and friends finally paid off in the summer of 2024. Nadora Home’s website was live and open for business.

Specializing in high quality and elevated décor, Nadora Home offers thoughtfully curated home décor and entertainment provisions. The aesthetic is a combination of contemporary and classic design with a focus on neutral tones, natural elements, organic fabrics, coordinating items and boutique offerings that can’t be found in big box stores or large chains.

“I am so proud of my website and have to give a shout-out to Mountain Air Marketing,” Johnson says. “They perfectly captured my aesthetic and helped me get my business off the ground.”

MAKING CONNECTIONS

While Nadora Home is currently a web-based business, its home base is in Colorado Springs. Johnson has been collaborating with fellow small business owners to introduce her brand locally. Nadora Home offerings can be found at pop-ups and events around the city, and she encourages her clients to follow her social media for up-to-date information and details.

“I had the opportunity to collaborate with Urbane Collective over the holidays and offered curated gift sets from Nadora Home,” she says. “It was a good experience, and I am always looking for additional opportunities to collaborate. Making connections is so important to the success of a small business.”

LOOKING FORWARD

Wish Nadora Home had a physical storefront? You are in luck! Johnson is actively working toward finding and securing a perfect space. She would like to add furniture pieces to her collection and shipping costs are too high to offer these large items online. She hopes to open her brick-and-mortar storefront by late 2025 or early 2026.

The Income Tax Cocktail likely popped up during the Prohibition party scene of the 1920s. Its exact origin story remains a bit blurry, but it was definitely a hit in speakeasies.

The name? Well, it's like a cheeky nod to the idea that sipping on this cocktail might be more fun than paying actual taxes! Made with gin, sweet vermouth, orange juice, and a dash of bitters, it's like a boozy adventure for your taste buds, with hints of citrus and herbs. Despite its vintage roots, the Income Tax Cocktail still brings the party vibes, transporting you back to the roaring '20s.
