THE STYLE LIST BY @STYLEELYST

SEPTEMBER STYLE

September is upon us, darlings, and with it comes a glorious shift in style. Gone are the carefree days of sundresses and sandals, in their place, a sophisticated symphony of textures and tones. It's time to embrace the chic aesthetic that defines autumnal fashion. From rich plaid prints to refined statement jackets to mini skirts, this season is all about layering, luxury and a lot of texture.

IRO | PARIS, FRANCE

Featuring the MARCELINE Tweed Shorts, $375. The MARCELINE high-rise tweed shorts redefine fall sophistication. With their clean lines, spacious patch pockets, and versatile straight cut, these shorts effortlessly capture the micro-trend while elevating it with a refined, contemporary tweed pattern.

The allure of bare legs paired with these shorts in the early season, or the depth of layering them with tights as the weather cools. Styling: A crisp white button-down and a trench or leather jacket offer classic contrasts, while a suede jacket injects a playful, textural dimension. The MARCELINE shorts are a canvas for endless styling possibilities, promising to be a cornerstone of any fashion-forward wardrobe.

LUXURY

SAINT LAURENT

Featuring the Uptown Compact Wallet in Noir Crocodile-Embossed Shiny Leather, $595. This wallet represents a thoughtful departure from the minimalist trend. While not petite, its generous dimensions are far from cumbersome. Multiple compartments, a billfold, and ample card slots ensure both practicality and organization. It’s a wallet that commands attention without being overbearing, a versatile accessory suited for most handbags but perhaps too substantial for the confines of a micro bag or clutch. The elegant hardware and embossed detailing lend a touch of luxury, creating a timeless piece that effortlessly transitions from day to night.

REFORMATION

Featuring the Arella Linen Dress in Tartine Check, $218 The fashion world is experiencing a resurgence of classic patterns, and this season, plaid, tartan, and check are undeniably taking center stage. These timeless motifs are reimagined with a modern twist, infusing our wardrobes with a sense of nostalgia and effortless chic.

Amidst this trend, I discovered this versatile dress that seamlessly transitions from the waning days of summer to the crisp embrace of autumn. Its fitted bodice and A-line skirt create a flattering silhouette that complements a variety of body types.

ALI WEISS | FINE JEWELRY

Featuring the Micro Light Oval Chain in 14K Yellow Gold, $225 and the Small Pearl with Diamond, $300. The understated allure of a dainty necklace, adorned with the timeless elegance of a pearl pendant, is a testament to the enduring power of less is more. This exquisite pairing is sophistication in its purest form, a delicate balance of refinement and restraint.

NILI LOTAN | DESIGNED IN TRIBECA, NYC | EST. 2003

Featuring the Lise Jacket in Roosevelt Khaki, $1,425. This boxy cropped lapel jacket is more than just a garment; it’s a declaration of style. Crafted from luxurious wool, this piece is poised to become the focal point of any autumn wardrobe. Its silhouette offers a modern twist on classic tailoring, while the cropped length strikes the perfect balance between edgy and elegant.

The meticulous details are what truly elevate this jacket. From the crisp lapel and full button closure to the sophisticated seaming and polished gold crest buttons, every element exudes refined craftsmanship. The back tabs, epaulettes, and wide cuffs add layers of visual interest, while the practical pockets and fully lined interior ensure both style and function.

This jacket is a chameleon, effortlessly transitioning from day to night. Pair it with tailored trousers for a powerful office look or dress it down with jeans and sneakers for a casual yet chic ensemble. Its versatility and timeless appeal make it an investment piece that will stand the test of time.

STILL HERE NEW YORK

Featuring the Martini Skirt in Navy, $145. The mini skirt has undeniably recaptured the fashion spotlight. Yet, amidst a sea of familiar silhouettes, the Marni knit mini emerges as refreshing. Its textured fabric injects a palpable sense of dimension and intrigue into an otherwise ubiquitous trend. While navy might not be the first choice for those deeply rooted in the allure of black, this season’s iteration proves captivating. A bold and unexpected choice, it breathes new life into the classic mini, making it a musthave for fashion-forward individuals seeking to stand out.

LONDONTOWN | CLEAN BEAUTY CRAFTED WITH CARE

Featuring Changing of the Guards, $16. This red polish is a luxurious, deep crimson crème, fit for royalty. While I go to the salon to get my gel manicures, I also occasionally give my nails a break and give myself at-home manicures. I absolutely adore this hue. INTRODUCING KAT JAMIESON

Founder of Everyone Loves the Weekend, a new timeless fashion line
PHOTOGRAPHY

14 years ago, Kat Jamieson started her blog 'With Love from Kat,' after working in the fashion industry and living in New York City. After studying interior design in college, Kat realized her ultimate passion was fashion. She was able to use her blog as a creative outlet tying in her love of fashion, decor, wellness, travel, beauty and so much more.

Flash forward to present day and Kat has written her own book, "Blended" and successfully launched the clothing brand, Everyone Loves the Weekend. A name fitted for the level of style she has created.

Kat, and her husband, Thomas got married 3 years ago in Nantucket and now live in New Canaan. As an avid traveler, Kat has used some of her favorite places she has visited as inspiration for her pieces including Nantucket, Capri and St. Barth. Through each of her designs, you are able to see the intricate details she has worked in, a taste of those stunning destinations.

Greenwich Lifestyle spoke with Kat, the creative visionary behind this brand.

GL: WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CREATE “EVERYONE LOVES THE WEEKEND” AND WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR BRAND?

KJ: I felt there was a need for quality midi-style dresses that were both timeless and flattering.  I love wearing dresses, they’re so easy to throw on and can be dressed up or down.  I wanted a collection that prioritized beautiful fabric, so I set out to use the finest 100% linen and cotton material I could find!  The collection is full of classic, effortlessly chic pieces that you’ll have for years to come.

I’ve always been extremely creative and had a love of fashion and design. My first job when I was 16 was working at a local clothing boutique, and then from there I became a sales associate at Calypso St. Barth and then Saks. I remember spending my entire paycheck on clothes, I was in heaven being surrounded by beautiful things every day.

GL: THIS ISSUE IS ALL ABOUT “STYLE” WHAT ARE SOME FASHION TIPS YOU HAVE FOR PEOPLE AS WE APPROACH THE FALL?

KJ: Cinch your waist with a thick brown leather belt like the one I’m wearing here. It instantly adds contrast and dimension to an all black or white silhouette. I’m a big fan of re-wearing my clothes.  I do a ton of monochromatic outfits in the fall and then have fun with the accessories to mix it up.  I also love doing a simple head-to-toe black outfit with a saddle color leather bag and Chanel ballet flat. Jackie Kennedy has always been a huge style inspiration for me.  If you look back at photos of her outfits from 50 years ago, they’re still just as stylish today!

Don’t be afraid to wear ivory in the winter. Winter whites are beautiful.

“My

GL: WHY DO YOU FEEL THIS COMMUNITY IS IMPORTANT AND WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF IT?

KJ: I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by how inviting the Fairfield County community is.  We’ve loved having our neighbors over for cozy wine nights by the fire and immediately felt at home in the area.  It’s been fun to connect with so many NYC transplants as well as fellow female entrepreneurs.  There’s such a wonderful mix of culture, style, work ethic, and warmth here!

Having a small business isn’t easy, and I’ve been so grateful for the women who have rallied behind me during this launch.  Within the first week, women who I had just met were opening up their yoga studios, homes and boutiques for our trunk shows.  The love and support we’ve felt from this community has been incredible.

OFFERING LUXURIOUS SERVICES YOU NEED THIS FALL

"THE MOST REWARDING PART OF MY JOB IS THE ABILITY TO MEET ALL OF MY WONDERFUL NEW CLIENTS, HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR AESTHETIC GOALS AND WITNESS THEIR SATISFACTION AND HAPPINESS RESULTS."

- JOSY CASH, APRN, CRNA

GL: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.

JC: As a full-service, client-centered Medical Spa in Greenwich,  The Cosmetic Clinic offers safe and effective Anti-Aging treatments and Advanced Skincare Solutions to enhance your natural beauty and well-being. From wrinkle-reducing injections, facial dermal fillers, medical-grade skincare, biostimulators like Sculptra to collagen inducing RF microneedling and resurfacing lasers – we offer it all! And don’t forget our signature facials, IV vitamin therapy and hair restoration.

GL: WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOB?

JC:  By far the most rewarding part of my job is the ability to meet all of my wonderful new clients, help them achieve their aesthetic goals and witness their satisfaction and happiness results.  Building trust in this industry is at the forefront of my practice and I never take my role as a provider and business owner for granted. Whether clients are undergoing surgery and receiving anesthesia from me, or consulting for an anti-aging treatment, I realize both of these situations can be equally nerve-racking and a time where a person is the most vulnerable. I always strive to instill trust, comfort and openended discussions and most importantly, listen to client’s needs. Fast paced medical environments can be overwhelming and The Cosmetic Clinic tries to be the opposite offering a calm, honest, and comfortable experience beginning to end. When you leave our space, our goal is for you to feel more educated about your treatment decision and empowered with the resources available.

GL: WHY ARE MED SPA SERVICES IMPORTANT?

JC: We have seen a shift in aesthetics to focus more on collagen induction therapies, biostimulators and biologics to stimulate cell regeneration. A few examples are: Radiofrequency

“BY FAR THE MOST REWARDING PART OF MY JOB IS THE ABILITY TO MEET ALL OF MY WONDERFUL NEW CLIENTS.”

Microneedling, Sculptra, Resurfacing Lasers, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Exosomes. These treatments are done in a series overtime which will assist to slow the aging process and stimulate your own body’s collagen. Collagen accounts for 30% of your body’s protein and provides the structure, support and strength to your skin, muscles and bones. Unfortunately, it is depleted by 1% every year as we age forward.  Clients today are seeking treatments that require little to no downtime rather than a quick fix like a surgical facelift. Non-surgical aesthetics treatments can give you just that. The process of aging is inevitable, but by educating clients on ways to slow that process overtime with small treatments, can truly give you self confidence we all strive for. Natural results are my specialty and I pride myself as a provider that wants you to look your age, but a very beautiful, refreshed and brighter version of that age.

GL: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST POPULAR SERVICES?

JC: The Cosmetic Clinic offers a vast variety of treatments like wrinkle-relaxing Botox or Dermal Filler, but currently the latest trending treatments (for both men and women) are definitely Biostimulators like Sculptra and Collagen Induction Therapy using Lutronic Genius® RF Microneeding. The Genius® facilitates the regeneration of collagen and elastin to improve texture, tone, laxity and scars across the body. Similarly, Sculptra, a biostimulator, is the first and original FDA-approved injectable that targets fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging due to collagen loss, gradually helping restore skin structure and volume. Another popular treatment is our Ultra Resurfacing Laser - a yearround best-seller to provide overall skin-glow and decrease hyperpigmentation, dark spots, pore size, and stimulate collagen. We also seem to be trending with Hair Restoration treatments with our advanced Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Keralase Hair Restoration Laser. Men and women alike are flocking in for thicker and fuller hair!

In addition, we offer Full Service Signature Facials Treatments. Our 90-minute Cosmetic Reverse Facial for AntiAging, Cosmetic Cure for Acne Prone skin, or the MotherTo-Be are all very  popular this summer! And don’t forget full service IV Hydration options which help fight fatigue, illness, jetlag and boost energy!

HOW DO YOU SERVE YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY?

I love to create memorable moments. When I designed my elegant, yet bohemian retail gallery I wanted everyone to have a wonderful experience, being transitioned from daily life.  Have an escape, while discovering something new. From wildflowers to Van Gogh. Enjoy the tea house, and take home the freshest loaf of bread, and flowers, or fall in love with an art piece!  In the last 20 years while raising my children I learned a lot by being exposed to the best of what this community has to offer. Now I can give back.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEING A GREENWICH RESIDENT AND BUSINESS OWNER?

Being a business owner is not easy, but I believe in what I do.  And thankfully, I am surrounded by an awesome community – smart, talented people with exceptional taste. I love to share my knowledge with people, and I love to learn from them as well.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM IN TOWN?

Honestly, my favorite place is my own. I built and designed the Barn House to incorporate everything I love, and of course, I had my children in mind. I wanted them to be exposed to many creative worlds! From fashion, I naturally moved to photography, drawings, collecting and creating art, learning textiles, textures, colors, flowers, trees, and how to balance it all.  You will find simple wildflowers, bespoke flower designs, and 100-year-old  topiaries!  Thanks to Boxwood King, George Bridge!  We also provide interior and landscape design. It is a full lifestyle experience. I love to do it all and I enjoy sharing this space with old friends and new ones.

and with her impressive background in fine arts and graphic design, she single-handedly transformed the art of inviting and branding. during the summer months. Once the weather changes, I gravitate towards unique cut sweaters, jeans paired with cute shoes or boots, a great hand bag and always complete my look with gold glam accessories.

DOES YOUR STYLE CARRY THROUGH INTO YOUR DESIGNS AND PROFESSIONAL WORK?

Yes! At Ceci New York, we are known for our hand-painted floral prints and pushing boundaries with our creative ideas to design invitations and products for our clients who crave something unique and different. Essentially, those who aren’t afraid to stand out from the rest. Most of our projects feature gold metallic foil stamping, which in the graphic design world, is the equivalent to gold accessories in fashion! My dream collaboration would be with a fashion house where I am able to design my own collection of dresses featuring Ceci New York hand-painted and custom designed floral prints.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW INSPIRATION FROM?

My inspiration truly comes from the clients we are personally creating for, but I feel the most inspired by the beautiful, ever-evolving world of fashion and travel. I am always looking at what’s coming down the runway – from colors, techniques, textures to the materials and new lines. I am lucky to travel the world for my clients and speaking engagements, which allows me to consistently be paying attention to every detail each culture has to offer. No matter where I go, there are incredible worldly experiences out there feeding my creative learning soul. I love being a student of my surroundings and experiencing new things.

Influences from my travels always find themselves incorporated into our designs, especially since we create for clients around the world and throw parties in the most fabulous of places. Our job is to set the tone with the invitations and brand the events with memorable moments, so it helps having been to some of these wonderful places first-hand.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE FASHION TREND AND MUST HAVE ACCESSORIES?

Besides wearing all the homemade jewelry my 8-year-old daughter makes me,

I never leave home without a great pair of sunglasses, my Ceci x Bandolier cross body phone case and a great handbag. When it comes to trends, I prefer not to follow them and rather embrace what makes me happy and suits my everyday lifestyle best. I encourage everyone not to feel so pressured to wear something that you’re not comfortable in – simply because it’s trending. It’s best to mix in trends and styles that make you uniquely you!

You can also use other elements such as large seashells, coral or seaglass. Use whatever you have on hand that nods to the sea.
