DISCOVERY - PHASE 1

Over the next 10 months we will be engaged in the design phase, including multiple onsites with Brett Eastman and the LifeTogether team. To date, the following initiatives have been discussed and designed into out next step plans.

Design the breath, size and scope of the next step plans and vision from the founder Bruce Johnston, and the emerging JH Ranch leadership team

PUBLISHING: Building a sustainable and eventually scalable enterprise will require the development of a series of transferable books, handbooks, training manuals, and curriculum to bring this vision to life In fact, one of the highest rated felt needs from the survey showed a need for a fully interactive member curriculum and training materials Over the next 4-6 months we intend to outline and create the “Core Resources” needed to ensure multigenerational family, health and well-being. These published resources, whether digital or physical, will help to train and develop a scalable number of advisors built on the backbone of a professionally certified follow up program. All this will help to turn the “flywheel” on to our core process, ensuring we have a transferable and scalable model for years to come

PRODUCTION: In this post-Covid era the need for “both/and” strategies to compliment live, in person, and one one one experiences is more important than ever We will be exploring more and better ways to leverage the power of media to deliver and distribute all forms of teaching, training and testimonies This model will also help to ensure that all live events will not just be a “transactional” event but a part of a “transformational” process for years to come We will embark on designing some of our LBD content (e.g.Netflix) but also begin the process of systematically aggregating and curating a library of interactive content designed to help families create a meaningful legacy. In addition, we will produce a half-dozen families on location in their natural environment, sharing their best practices and proven methods that help transform families

over the years, we will be designing a fully customized “smart product design” or operating system that helps to reinforce and replicate the JH Ranch Core Process (flywheel), Core Resources, and Core Vision and Values. Every published product, resource, program, tool, will leverage this proven process to help to ensure families are truly growing exponentially in their impact around the world Over the next 4-6 months, we will begin the process of creating this template and will seek to integrate it with the Top 10 JH Ranch (new and existing) products to be produced in the future. We will design and deliver mutually determined resources, including selected examples below. The working list includes the beachhead JH Ranch and Family by Design trade books, companion video teaching series, JH Ranch Business book and curriculum

In addition, we will be building the most comprehensive and fully searchable digital library serving families of wealth with best practices, family, wisdom, multigenerational, family, testimonies, and interactive conversations from families and advisors. This won’t happen overnight, but overtime with the amount of content we will be both creating and curating in this unique family legacy coaching community The library will also include training and teaching from a group of hand picked service providers, organizations, ministries, and advisors all designed to serve our families with exclusive and relevant content for their whole family

We’ve been working with the existing and emerging board for the last six months creating the next phase vision for Family Meridian This helped us understand how we might turn this vision into reality While the mission and vision is fairly clear, the strategy for how to get there needs to be designed and developed further We are now seeking the funding for the “Design Phase” of this plan over the next 4-6 months to further unpack this strategy with our leadership team, the advisory council, and professional advisors to UNHW families What follows is an outline of the new vision for JH Ranch and brief description of the outcomes for all three phases of the plan We believe at the end of the Design Phase we will be ready to move into the final phase of relaunching the work of Family Meridian into Flourishing Families

LEGACY by DESIGN

The JH Ranch main course and curriculum is a six week overview of the principles and practices needed to help a Christian financial advisor lead their families by design and not by default. Once they complete the main JH Ranch course, they could study any one of the follow up series in any order they choose. In addition, if they complete the JH Ranch 6–9 volume courses they could receive a Family Legacy Coaching certification similar to the Kingdom Advisor certification.

The list below are the possible scenarios and the probable projections given proper funding, marketing and execution. We can adjust projections and programs as needed.

Profitability for LBD and FBD is based on Raising up to 1.75 million for the complete package in the first two years. The simple plan is being able to raise $1 million for the first year and 750,000 for the second year. (Which is the total for the Complete package. The installments would ideally be in increments of $500,000 for the first six months, and additional $500,000 for the second six months and the final amount of 750,000 over the course of the second year. Successfully implementing this plan will earn an additional $531,000 to be available for the JH Ranch operating budget. And 2–4 Million every year after.

The ability to sell courses, classes, conferences, campaigns and curriculum is going to be very exciting very soon. The following is the “JH Ranch” Package of the best products and services to secure the seed starter and scaling funding from a few of your customers

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following applies unless otherwise addressed in writing at the time of this agreement.

RIGHTS&INTELLECTUALPROPERTY:

Bruce Johnston and Brett Eastman will retain full ownership of their unique intellectual property brought to this project and partnership And yet together, we will create a growing dynamic library of shared intellectual property that we will mutually seek to multiply the impact into the lives of families and their trusted advisors into as many marketing channels, strategic partnerships, distribution sources and custom applications as possible

SPEAKER,STORIES,ANDPARTICIPANTRELEASES:

Lifetogether is responsible for obtaining releases from all participants involved in this project, especially those providing personal stories or participating on the day of production This responsibility extends to any additional video or story incorporated into the study guide or video series

PUBLISHINGPARTNERSHIP:

Under this agreement, Lifetogether will formally produce and publish all specified items. In good faith, Lifetogether and related ministries will represent the authors and their publisher in facilitating the resale of these resources shared.

SHAREDDISTRIBUTIONAGREEMENT:

Lifetogether will serve as the non-exclusive distributor for all digital, electronic, and downloadable editions of the resources. Ongoing promotion will be directed toward advisors and families, through Lifetogether’s online commerce site, catalog sales, mailings, and conferences. Lifetogether will handle packaging and delivery of campaign resources, if included, through warehousing, printing partnerships, and on- demand services.

EQUITYPARTNERS:

Bruce Johnston holds sole ownership of the JH Ranch enterprise including the company, determined intellectual property and resources outlined in this agreement Any future potenital equity partnership will be evaluated at a later time

FINALAPPROVALS:

Bruce Johnston, (The client) has sole responsibility for granting final approval for both video and print files This encompasses grammatical corrections, proofreading errors, spelling errors, undocumented changes, photographs, and related items Final video masters, including spelling errors, testimony edits, session lengths, and video edits, also fall under the client’s purview If a product has already gone to press, the client is responsible for any reprinting expenses

TERMINATIONAGREEMENT:

Either party has the right to terminate the Contract under material breach, change in circumstances, moral failure, insolvency, and mutual agreement To terminate the Contract, the terminating party must provide 90 days of written notice to the other party They must also attempt negotiation and, if unsuccessful, mediation and arbitration before deciding to terminate the Contract After Contract termination, the parties must settle outstanding damages or fees, return assets and documents, and continue to acknowledge the Contract’s non-compete and intellectual property rights clauses

TRAVELEXPENSES:

Travel expenses will be a part of the existing and determined budget

NONPROFITPARTNERSHIP:

Doing Better Together and/or Kingdom Impact Network with New Horizons 501(c) (3) non profit will serve as the designated organization responsible for facilitating the distribution of funds to LifeTogether outlined in this agreement

REVENUESHARING:

Any revenue produced for the JH Ranch in person advisor workshops and Coaching Services agreements will be exclusively Bruce Johnston Additionally, revenue produced from any events online or virtual courses, classes and certification revenue will be shared evenly with Bruce Johnston ADDITIONALFUNDRAISING:

Additional funding secured after the time of this agreement will be managed under the same terms and conditions outlined in this document

CO-AUTHORSHIP:

The books and curriculum will be co-authored with Bruce Johnston and Brett Eastman but Bruce Johnston will own the formal copyright.

MONTHLY BUDGET AND PROJECT REPORTING:

On the first of each month Lifetogether will report on the monthly progress and plans related to the overall project performance.

SEMI CUSTOM EDITIONS:

Any semi-custom editions of the JH Ranch or the Family JH Ranch resources will be produced and published by Lifetogether Revenue produced as a result of these custom editions from any live workshops and coaching services will be Bruce Johnston’s and revenue created from certification and digital distribution will be shared evenly with both parties Physical Resource Sales are shared after cost of goods (printing, inventorying, mailing, etc) less actual retail costs

Brett Eastman’s journey has spanned diverse realms, commencing in Silicon Valley before embracing a calling to ministry Holding pivotal roles at Saddleback Church, he led in small groups, assimilation, and leadership development, contributing to the iconic 40 Days of Purpose Campaigns Collaborating with Rick Warren, these campaigns propelled countless churches worldwide using the bestselling Purpose Driven Life book

Later, Brett authored the Purpose Driven Small Group Series titled “Doing Life Together,” published by Zondervan In 2006, he founded LifeTogether, a ministry dedicated to advancing the global small group movement With numerous accolades, LifeTogether crafts resources for top Christian publishers, faith-based nonprofits, and denominations

United through Kingdom Impact Network (KIN), Brett and Kyle Circle share a mission of catalyzing the fulfillment of the Great Commission among multigenerational families Brett’s academic achievements include a B A in Marketing from San Diego State University, a Masters of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, and completion of a Business Management Program from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
