say no to politics as usual • Protect the NHS • REDUCE THE GAP BETWEEN RICH AND POOR free education • £10 an hour minimum wage • Railways in public hands

A PUBLIC NHS – WE WILL: • Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services. • Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.

free education – we will

spoz says ... I am a 50 year old freelance poet working in schools across the county. Born in Rubery, I now live in Rednal with my wife and two children. Every Green Party policy stems from the belief that our wellbeing should not be pursued at the expense of others and at the expense of our planet. We would work to reduce the divide between rich and poor, ensuring tax avoiders pay their way. We would give more support to small local business, and make the minimum wage £10 an hour by 2020. We need greater investment in renewable energy, like solar schools and community wind turbines, generating income for local people whilst creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs. We need a transport system that is safe, affordable and reliable. We’d immediately end HS2, reduce bus fares by 10% and bring railways back into public hands.
