#say no to politics as usual #Protect the NHS #Ban fracking #free education #Railways in public hands #£10 an hour minimum wage #NO to bedroom tax

# A PUBLIC NHS – WE WILL: 3 Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services. 3 Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.

# better transport – we will:

3 Return the railways to public hands to stop profits before passengers.

I have lived in the Milton Keynes/North Bucks area for over 30 years and have been Research Fellow for Computer Graphics at the Open University and a transport consultant.

3 Introduce an immediate 10% cut in fares.

I have been chair of a Parish Council and am active in many community groups. I campaigned for the East West Rail Link, which will put Winslow back on the rail network, and have opposed large-scale housing developments on greenfield sites such as Salden Chase. Greens want a more equal society and will end the austerity measures imposed by the coalition. We would introduce a minimum wage of £10 an hour by 2020, a wealth tax on the top 1%, close tax loopholes and build more council houses. Voters have become disenchanted with the established parties. The Green Party offers a fresh alternative with policies that are for the common good.
