#say no to politics as usual #Protect the NHS #Ban fracking #free education #Railways in public hands #£10 an hour minimum wage #NO to bedroom tax
# A PUBLIC NHS – WE WILL: 3 Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services. 3 Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.
# A FAIR ECONOMY – WE WILL:
glyn says ... I have lived in Bury for 23 years and work at the University of Salford as a lecturer and clinical specialist in prosthetics. My professional work and local political experience as a Borough Councillor (1995-1999) will enable me as a Green Party MP to promote green policies that would benefit us all. As your Green Party MP, I will make balanced and informed judgements based on fairness and equality for the common good. Local green policies will be driven by evidence based local issues decided by the needs of local people, like you! I strongly support the renationalisation of public transport, this should be a service not a business. I oppose fracking for shale gas, and I am campaigning for Bury to become a Frack Free Zone. I strongly believe that education should be free and open to all – the Greens will abolish all tuition fees and we support the provision of free social care for the over 65s.
