#say no to politics as usual #Protect the NHS #Ban fracking #free education #Railways in public hands #£10 an hour minimum wage #NO to bedroom tax

# A PUBLIC NHS – WE WILL: 3 Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services. 3 Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.

# A FAIR ECONOMY – WE WILL:

andrew says ... I am a semi-retired former scientist and have lived in Eddisbury constituency for 29 years in Ashton Hayes. I served as a local Parish Councillor for 11 years and as a Chester City Councillor for three years. I have also been involved in a number of community projects, for example establishing our village playing field.

3 End austerity and restore the public sector to create over one million good jobs. This will be paid for with a wealth tax on the top 1%, a Robin Hood tax on the banks and the closure of tax loopholes. 3 A minimum wage of £10 an hour by 2020.

# DECENT HOMES – WE WILL:

In Eddisbury I value the rural landscape; I also care about those deprived areas of the constituency where people are finding it hard to get by as a direct result of uncaring government policies.

3 Abolish the unfair Bedroom Tax.

I joined the Green Party in 2011 (from the Lib Dems) because I became increasingly concerned about both climate change and the adverse impacts of mounting income and wealth inequalities on the health of our society. I think that the Green Party is the natural place for those who want real action on these vital issues. Please join me by voting Green.
