“Save our public services.”
GENERA L ELECTIO N
A PUBLIC NHS – WE WILL: • Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services. • Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.
A FAIR ECONOMY – WE WILL:
about phil Phil has lived with his wife, Marion, in Harborne for 40 years. They both worked locally in public service, Phil for the City Council and Marion as a GP. He is Chair of Birmingham Greens having served at all levels within the Green Party. Phil says “I studied at Birmingham University but who can now afford it? Tuition fees and student debt are driving young people away. We will abolish tuition fees. “Our new QE Hospital was built with private money costing twice as much as public money. We will publicly fund and run the NHS. “There is a lot of work to be done if we are to build up our public NHS; if we are to invest in education and if we are to build homes. We will get on with it and create real jobs on a Living Wage.”
