BOB says ... I am a semi-retired business man and have lived in the Fylde for 48 years where I have raised four children. The Green Party is the only party with a policy to ban fracking and I have been a tireless campaigner against shale gas extraction, in the Fylde and the UK. The Green Party believes that the politics of the future don’t have to be based on the politics of the past. We want to make the economy fairer by tackling the system that brings wealth to the few at the expense of the most vulnerable. We will invest in new homes and renewable technologies that would boost local jobs, and that pay a decent living wage. We will fight to keep the NHS in public ownership. We will fight to put the rail services and utilities back into public hands. We believe in protecting our planet and tackling climate change. The current political system is broken; but you now have an alternative. The Green Party, now the third largest party in England & Wales. On May 7 make your vote count.

3 Bring an end to austerity – restore the public sector, create over one million jobs, get rid of zero hours contracts and implement a basic living wage. This will be paid for by the closure of tax loopholes and a Robin Hood Tax on the banks. 3 Increase the minimum wage to £10 an hour by 2020.
# DECENT HOMES – WE WILL: 3 Abolish the Bedroom Tax. 3 Provide 500,000 social rented homes by 2020 and bring empty homes back into use. 3 Cap rent and introduce greater protection for tenants and longer tenancies.
# A SAFE CLIMATE – WE WILL: 3 Ban fracking, phase out fossil fuels and nuclear power. 3 Invest in renewable energy and insulate buildings so creating jobs.
