AIDAN says ... I am a 36-year-old travel consultant living in Stamford with my wife and our two cats. Many of us struggle to find an affordable home and pay our bills. Public transport is limited and expensive, restricting access to work and key services. The NHS is in crisis; too many people do not have secure employment or a living wage; and, despite our country’s wealth, food banks are in high demand. Austerity is expensive. Apart from the human cost, low wages and uncertain employment require taxpayer help through tax credits and top-up benefits. We pay, whilst businesses enjoy growing profits. Greens believe that a fairer and more equal society benefits everyone, including the rich who must pay their fair share. Our support is growing rapidly – we can influence change. Please use your vote for the common good.

• End austerity policies, and introduce a minimum wage of £10 an hour by 2020 • Invest in the public sector, including education and the NHS, to re-build services and create sustainable jobs • Clamp down on tax evasion and tax avoidance • Introduce a wealth tax and tax the banks • Make education free for all
DECENT HOMES – WE WILL: • Abolish the Bedroom Tax. • Introduce rent caps and longer tenancies • Build new social rented homes and bring empty homes back into use
