hiring: Operations Manager
The operations manager as part of the leadership team, is responsible for the short- and long-term company planning and has to ensure the operational functioning of all areas that support, manage and document the business. This includes talent development, resource planning, coordination and organisation of various tasks that contribute to revenue growth and ensure compliance.
Our company
LifeXperiences is a full-service event agency, offering tailor-made itineraries for 4* and 5* incentives, meetings and conferences, and private events on the Balearic Islands. We are a very small close knit team of 12 staff, passionate about planet and people. Through our Xperiences we endeavour to inspire guests to reconnect with themselves and become passionate about the environment. Given the unprecedented times we are living in, more and more clients recognize the need to actively participate in the regeneration of our planet. As a company we strive to become leaders of change as we commit to finding sustainable solutions across our entire value chain, establishing best practices for the travel industry.
We are aiming for the Balearic Islands to become a fully sustainable tourist destination by 2025 and are now looking to expand our management team with an operations manager who can help us build on our success and finetune our processes to reach that goal.
Your role
The operations manager will be responsible for the short and long term planning of the company and has to ensure the technical and operational functioning of all areas that support, manage and document the business. This includes talent development, resource planning and coordinating all tasks that contribute to revenue growth and quality assurance.
Your profile
The ideal candidate has an MSc in Business Administration/ HR Management or similar and should not be a stranger to the travel industry. We believe in a flat structure and operate in a highly supportive, fun, non-competitive small team environment. The ability to engage with all parties, coach the team and embrace a collaborative style respecting different points of view is therefore critical for the role. We are looking for someone with excellent finance, HR and project management expertise and a good nous for quality and compliance. The successful candidate should have good analytical skills and be able to steer financial and operational tracking of projects to ensure LifeXperiences has skills, talent and processes needed to thrive in the future.
We are looking for a person with empathy, passion for people and environment, able to empower others and set valuable impulses to a learning organisation and healthy work environment. The role requires excellent Spanish and/or English oral and communication skills. Spoken German is considered beneficial. In order to sustain steady talent development, one of the first tasks will be the creation of our HR systems such as the development of skills and competencies and ensuring best practice throughout all processes.

• Salary range: 35000€ - 45000€
