The History program propels students into the dynamic history of the world. In addition to studying World Civilization, students progress through European, Non-Western, and American histories by delving into the narratives of each period.
History is a popular program of study for entry into law schools and theological seminaries. History is also an excellent academic background for careers in journalism, education, telecommunications, museums, government, and Foreign Service, or business management.

LIFE AFTER GRADUATION
“During my time at Limestone, I was consistently astounded by the proficiency and intricacy of the history department. Without a doubt, it is one of the best departments on campus. You were able to connect on a personal level to all of the history professors. They have an incredible ability to make you feel at ease and comfortable while in lectures and on a 1-1

basis. The history department helped to broaden my perspective on a variety of topics, not just in a historic sense, but always remaining in touch with the latest current affairs. They gave me the skills to feel confident in debate, be open to different interpretations, drawing inferences, as well as planting the educational tools that would enable you to succeed in your general college life.”
