Visit the Upper School on a given day and you might see a group of girls troubleshooting a student-designed robot, practicing Shakespeare monologues, or analyzing a passage in a novel. Meanwhile, at the Providence Steelyard, Lincoln students are fabricating metal sculptures. Halfway around the world they’re experiencing the sights and sounds of India. Along the way, they’re learning that no field is out of their reach, no problem too complex to solve. Y O U N G W O M E N S H I N E H E R E — I N T E L L E C T UA L LY A N D E M O T I O NA L LY. In our globally oriented, expansive academic program, girls in grades 9-12 immerse themselves in a wide range of disciplines, on our Butler Avenue campus and through our partner organizations in Greater Providence and beyond. As they progress, students craft individualized academic programs spanning our outstanding humanities, arts, and STEAM offerings. Our faculty mentor students through this discovery process, fostering an experiential, collaborative classroom environment where girls embrace challenge and develop resilience. Lincoln graduates are well prepared for the exceptional colleges they attend.

The close relationships formed among peers and teachers at Lincoln provide a foundation for high-level achievement and emotional wellbeing.
