Silence, by far, is more valuable than gold. Full of boundless meaning, countless truths told.

Between the heaves of storm by Emily Anderson Between the heaves of storm Is where I lie - in the calm My personal sanctuary - in limbo It is always beautiful But never scenic I never step forward - never back Not left or right - up or down Time neither progresses nor retraces In this tranquil world Between the heaves of storm

Idiummmmms? By Riley Sullivan What was the best thing before sliced bread? And during essay writings, why should I hit a nail on its head? I hope we always feel under the weather, ‘Cause we’re all together On the ground. We see eye to eye, And the clouds? They’re up in the sky! And it’s weird to think I can be on the ball when I’m taking a test, There’s a method to my madness I’m trying my best. “Elvis has left the building” You guys didn’t know? Elvis left his last building like 40 years ago. And I don’t get it, Does anybody really have thunder to steal? Or is it just my friend’s instead have the ability to cartwheel? Hearing straight from the horse’s mouth doesn’t seem like a better idea than Edison’s, Maybe first the horse should have a taste of his own breath-fixing medicine, Oh and speak of the Devil! He’s so fake, like a counterfeit, Oh wait, aren’t you the Devil’s Advocate? And maybe this whole poem is a blessing in disguise Just maybe, maybe it’s a sign Or not, I don’t know, your guess is as good as mine

Inevitable by Megan Murphy You are standing at the end of the tunnel. Waiting. Hearing. Breathing. A familiar face draws you into the unknown. It’s the who, It’s the what, It’s the now. It has every possibility to be a constant, And every heartache to be an illusion. You feel a sorrow, Buried deep inside. You don’t understand why any of this makes sense. The reason is, because it doesn’t. For this is a feeling, And idea, A thought. There is nothing to be known, And there is everything to be unknown. It’s the future. It can be inconsistent, But you fear change. You hope this will find a resolution, You wish this wasn’t every reality you’ve ever known. You pray for time. That seems to be the only thing you need. But you don’t want too much of it. An amount that is too big, Is another reason for fear. There is an unborn crisis, An alert of some sort, Within your own mind. You feel every emotion that you have ever been given. All at the same time. For this is it. This is something you can’t escape. You’ve reached that light, At the end of your tunnel. And suddenly, Time stops.
