It All Started With a Table Mat and a Curve Shape—Still Shaping Our Designs
The journey of LIND DNA started back in 2013 with the introduction of our first and eventually most famous and widely used design; the curve-shaped table mat. The idea back then was to create an innovative, decorative, and functional design for the table mat with the perfect dimensions to place a plate, glass, and cutlery. The shape is timeless
in design with a contemporary feel, and with its organic form it complements all types of tables, both round and rectangular, and everything in between. Today, the curve shape is synonymous with LIND DNA and now defines the design of many of our creations, extending far beyond table mats.

Behind LIND DNA stands the Lind family, whose passion for design and craftsmanship has shaped the brand. Since the beginning in 2013, LIND DNA has redefined home decor with the innovative use of recycled leather. It all started in Aarhus, Denmark, where they began expe-
rimenting with surplus leather from the furniture and fashion industry to develop durable and stylish home accessories. LIND DNA remains a family-run business, with Preben Lind working alongside his daughter, Mie Lind. Mie is responsible for the design process, with a strong
focus on Nordic aesthetics, creating simple yet sophisticated designs that reflect the brand’s minimalist roots. Preben, on the other hand, takes charge of bringing the designs to life, including construction and sourcing the right local suppliers.

Our recycled leather is made from vegetable-tanned core leather leftovers from the fashion and furniture industries— for example, scraps from shoe sole production. This surplus material is granulated into tiny pieces, mixed with natural rubber, and pressed into our recycled leather. In the development of the recycled leather texture Core, our aim was to ‘cut to the core’ and create a recycled leather quality that can tell the story of its own production. Without colour and embossed structure, the granulated core leather is easily visible in the material, and this charming detail ensures that each mat has a unique, natural flecked pattern across the surface.

We put a lot of work into producing recycled leather mats designed to maintain their beauty year after year. Therefore, we have developed our Cleaning collection for this purpose. Two cleaning products for two different needs, both ensuring that our recycled leather mats receive the best care and stay beautiful.
DEEP CLEANING SOAP
Deep Cleaning Soap is developed for an in-depth cleaning of mats in recycled leather. Apply the soap with a sponge, wait a minute, and wipe with a damp cloth to remove stains and maintain the leather surface.
CLEAN & CARE
Clean & Care is developed as an everyday cleaning spray for mats in recycled leather. Spray and wipe with a dry cloth for a quick cleaning that removes new stains and leaves the surface clean.

Our Silhouette collection unveils a truly characteristic production process, proudly unfolding within the heart of Denmark. A result of meticulous craftsmanship, where all stages are performed by skilled hands. Every piece within the collection is carefully designed with simplified shapes and repeated proportions. Crafted to perfection, the Silhouette collection is brought to life from solid steel, then adorned with a generous coat of genuine 24K gold, chrome, or black finishes.
SILHOUETTE 145 CANDLE HOLDER: CHROME
The Silhouette collection comprises three types of candle holders and a matching vase. It features two tall candle holders of varying heights and a low candle holder, that mirrors the design of the base of the taller ones. Each piece can be styled individually or combined to create a cohesive arrangement. All designs are available in the three finishes: 24K gold, chrome, and black to suit any preference, and complement a variety of styles and settings with its timeles elegance.
The Curve Candle Holders are handcrafted in Denmark from oak with a top of recycled leather in selected colours. The two parts of the candle holder are connected with hidden magnets. In the wood, a plastic insert has been placed to protect the candle holder when the candle is burning and ensure that the candle stands steadily.

The Swing transforms European oak and a leather cord into a decorative and functional design solution for wardrobes and smaller hallway spaces. Combine it with our selection of hangers or hooks to display your favourite clothes and accessories elegantly. Swing only takes up very little space and with the adjustable leather cords, this is the ideal solution where space is limited.

The Curve Chameleon Table is designed with a black, lightweight steel frame for an understated appearance. The legs have a graphic angle and add a distinctive character to the minimalistic design, making it striking from any perspective. The table comes with a Table Mat Curve L in recycled leather on top. However, as the name indicates, Curve Chameleon Table offers an extra functional dimension, as you can change the table mat with any other Table Mat Curve L.
