Camping is quiet, beautiful location, lots to do in the area (even in low season)
A real must for those who need a good stopover.
The site is a must!
Children will never be bored on this site, with a pool, an indoor playground, an outdoor playground (very large), a large lawn, table tennis, a volleyball net and a maze.
Nice, quiet, child friendly campsite
Auf Kengert is for us always a sort of homehaven where we can really begin our holidays.
Barefootpath : it starts directly from the campsite and is a real successtory : here you are able to walk with bare feet over different textures (e.g. grass, sand, stone, wood, etc) en enjoy an unique massage. Open from 30.04. till 30.09.

Both on site and in the village, the food is great.
Walking / Biking / Mountainbiking : Luxembourg puts the spot on the bike : Auf Kengert the ideal spot for mountainbiking, several routes are readyto-use for GPS devices through our website woodland walkers are all excited about the new tracks in Luxembourg's Little Switzerland: the Mullerthal Trail http://www.mullerthaltrail.lu/. We have been recommended as “specialized accomodation in hosting hikers”. We will also join the “Bed & Bike” Label, more info on www.bedandbike.lu. Special rate for 1 night: Quick Stopp -25% If you arrive after 19:00h and leave the day after before 09:00h, you have a reduction of 25% on the camping rate - this is valid the whole year through, not only when camping with a motorhome, but also with a caravan, a tent, etc. But: not to be combined with one of our other offers !
Low season promotion for bookings For camping pitches, between 01.03. and 10.07. & 18.08. and 08.11. : 7=6 if booked on beforehand and consecutive. Maybe a good idea for your term breaks. But again: not to be combined with one of our other offers !
WiFi on the site We have decided that the use of our WiFi remains free, this means you can bring your laptop with wireless connection for sure.

Ascension weekend from 2 till 6 June 2011
Whitsun break, June 10th till June 13th 2011 Whitsun Monday June 13rd 2011: Whitsun Brunch at 11:00h 18 and 19 June 2011: Marche de l’Armée in Diekirch. This mega-event gathers a lot of people in Luxembourg every year. There are tracks of 12, 20, 40 km. More information at the: Section de Marche de l’Armée, www.marche.lu July and August 2011 summer holidays We strongly recommend to book your pitch in advance, have a look at U.K. touroperators featuring Camping Auf Kengert or contact us through the website. Our policy is to provide a quiet and restfull environment, therefore, no discotheque and no entertainment program. But nobody will get bored on “Auf Kengert”. In summer months there will be puppet theatre with Ruben and Snuf (www.ruben-snuf.nl) and circus Pompom (www.circuspompom.com) with Clown Anita. When Ruben is there, we always have the pancake feast. Pizza à Gogo is an evening in the restaurant, where you can make your own taste of Pizza from a large buffet of ingredients. From time to time, there is a concert from a local music band. September 3rd and 4th 2011: Luxembourg weekend in Medernach. Come and have a taste of what Luxembourg produces in food and beverage, free entrance. An organisation of the Syndicat d’Initiative of Medernach.

Saturday, October 22nd 2011: Sauerkraut Eve: a fantastic dinner with meats and Moselle wines. Book in time! Sunday, October 23rd 2011: The traditional Pea Soup - Woodwalk from the Syndicat d’Initiative et du Tourisme Medernach: they invite you for a walk through the forest, followed by free beers and pea soup on Auf Kengert Sunday, November 6th 2011: Auf Kengert closes for the winter. See you in spring 2012!
Winter 2011/2012: It is still possible to rent our Chalets when the campsite is closed.
