At the Lindner College of Business, we embrace diversity and are excited to offer this new summer institute for a select group of African American and Hispanic students (rising high school juniors and seniors) to learn from and network with leaders who are making a difference in their communities and industries. The Lindner Summer Institute for African American and Hispanic students is a week-long program on the University of Cincinnati campus that will provide a unique opportunity and address the following topics as they relate to business: u Leadership styles and traits

u Ethics and character

u Communication skills

u Managing diversity

u Professionalism

u Coaching and feedback

u Group dynamics and project

u Networking and mentors

management Speakers at the institute will address the importance of not only managing but leveraging diversity. Participants will also discuss topics such as cultural understanding, emotional intelligence and empowerment.
