PechaKucha Night was devised in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in
public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

+853 CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
+853 is an association that was born in the city with a simple target : to feel the urban space.In the beginning, there were only two or three streets, shared by those who came first, then, some more arrived, each one with a street and a neighborhood, each one with his stories , arts, wishes, hope and despairs. With shared secrets and daily discoveries. When you look to the map, you cannot see two similar streets. When you look up, you are not able to find same window twice. This city is a human being. Macau lives between the peace of the hidden gardens and the chaos of the impetuous cranes that changes the faces of the city, Macau lives in its difference, in the indifference of the end of the aftenoc. It lives with complacence and with the impatience of the days. It lives from those who breathe with the ones who dream. Some desire future, others prefer past. The present is around there. Here, in +853, we just want to feel the city, with all that it has because we are like it and it is much of us, between peace and impatience, we want the city with all its colours and shapes. It is not m and it is everying: the city as it really is. It is the wish of stopping in turbulent days and the desire of moving in stagnation periods. It is to live the city ,to feel it, to commemorate it with everything that it has, in all the possible different ways. Here in +853,we don’t have the same two windows. Some are shaped and strong. Others are small and shine. Some have curtains and are made of wood. Others are painted with fresh colours. All of ther widely opened, to look to the city and let it come in. The +853 an association that gathers different visions and philosophies to the city and that proposes to feel the urban space through several artistic ways. It is a project of united synergies ,designing moments to discover, discuss and reinvent the city. FOR THE GLOBAL INSCRIPTION OF A LOCAL DIFFERANCE event/essay in resistance and counter-culture set in Macau. In a first moment, the event may find justification in the artistic territories of video and design organized in a temporal and spatial itinerary somewhere in a shadowy geography of the city. In a second moment, +853 substantiate the proposal for a dialogue on the issues of contemporaneousness, on memory, on difference, on the precarious nature and public and equalitarian character of shared urban space. It is an event/essay in resistance to the multinational imposition of a dream -city simulacrum, and stands against the tendentiously hegemonic culture of global aseptization and indifference. In the wake of the North-American architect Michael Sorkin, this event can be said to attempt the re-appropriation of the progressive utopian speech by operating a re-conversion of the concept: the eutopia, the invention of a better place and an inventory of images and local cultures of resistance, thence the urgency to edify alternative symbolic systems, to generate differences and local autonomies capable of bringing about distinct and emancipated cities. The choice of +853 for the title of this event hints at that local distinction, but also at the possibility of establishing a dialogue and integrating the web of global flows by appropriating cultural strategies of demarcation, creating utilitarian alliances in the final attempt to elaborate, in this circumstance, a local catalogue of impossibilities. Only thus will it be possible to have a virtue-oriented propaganda capable of ensuring the global inscription of local difference. And only thus will Macau and the citizens-to-come be able to lay the foundations of the impossible emancipation. +853 proposes an official cartography and, contradictorily, a postsituationist nomad drift: the walking, the ambling as an aesthetical category of ecstasy, of a learning of loss and of perdition, of pausing. And of contemplation. In this sense, the presentation of the design product will take place first with, “Derma”, the handbag by Manuel Correia da Silva and Clara Brito, at Lines Lab, Beco da Melancia 2A, simultaneously with the video projection of “The Mirror Suitcase Man”, by Rui Calçada Bastos. “Derma” is a bag of images, colors and messages, which registers and re-invents the skin of the city, an approach that achieves further consistency in the work of Calçada Bastos “The Mirror…’” describes a moral, intimate operation, the universalizing of a particular, portable mode of memories and affections undergoing loss. The event will continue at Bloom space, between Beco da Melancia, Beco da Ostra and Rua do Teatro, and up to Largo do Pagode do Bazar where some of the most significant works by an emerging generation of video makers will be shown– Ulf Aminde, currently showing works at the 4th Berlin Contemporary Art Biennale, Noé Sendas, Nuno Cera, Heman Chong, José Drummond, Juan Rayos, and Sergio Belinchón – established in, or aesthetically affiliated with, the Berlin arts circuit. +853 是一項抵禦和抗衡澳門身處之文化的行動/嘗試。 首先,這行動透過錄像和設計的藝術手法,為參與者在一些被城市遺忘的街角,安排了雖短暫但具空間感的行程。此外,+853 屬意透過行動來建立 對話,話題內容涉足當代題材、回憶、差異、公用都市空間所存在的不穩性、公用都市空間享有的平等和共用特色。這是一項抗衡國際企業,強行把 它們的夢想附之於澳門身上的行動:抗衡城市中出現的假象、抵禦環宇霸權式文化、個體之遊失狀態和冷淡態度。乘接著北美建築師 Michael Sorkin 的構想,這項行動試圖重新演繹他的革新性烏托邦言論:Eutopia,一處更好的地方,並擁有一連串的影像和抗衡霸權式支配的地方文化。在這大前提 下,有迫切需要把非主流派但具象徵意義的體制廣傳,繼而衍生具區別性的本土自主個體來解放這小城和發掘城內的獨特元素。這項行動的名稱【 +853】除暗示本地區擁有與別不同之處外,也期望可建立對話和嘗試在環宇資訊網中,透過運用各式策略來顯示本地的獨特文化,創立實利主義者 聯盟,以至最終能夠在這現實環境中,製作出一部屬本地區的不可能事情一覽表。只有籍著這項有意義的行動,才可在世界的名冊上留下本地區與 別不同的名字,才能使澳門及其未來的公民從難以擺脫的支配下,獲得解脫。+853 在給參與者官方地圖的同時,亦給予他們在活動範圍內自由遊走 漂流的機會,發掘個別的內心細界: 由漫步中感受藝術迷情、進行沈思、了解已失去、被毀滅或已中斷了的感覺。由位於西瓜里2A 的Lines Lab 設計 師Manuel Correia da Silva 和Clara Brito 精心構思的「Derma」手袋,將在這樣感性的氣氛中面世。同場還將會播放Rui Calçada Bastos 攝製的錄像「鏡 面手提箱男」。「Derma」袋內載滿了用來記錄和重新創造城市肌膚的影像、顏色和訊息, 而 CalçadaBastos 的作品「鏡…」更進一步貫切這題材。「鏡… 」描述一項從價值觀中衍生的個人行動,讓更多人能了解特殊手提式回憶和感受到正在缺失的情愛。這活動從西瓜里、蠔里、大碼頭街擴展至康公廟 前地,並在「Bloom 空間」繼續選播一些由新一代錄像製作人拍攝的優秀作品,繼有Ulf Aminde (作品最近參展第四屆柏林藝術雙年展)、Noé Sendas、 Nuno Cera、HermanChong、José Drummond、Juan Rayos 和Sergio Belinchón。他們都是柏林藝術圈中的活躍份子。 (by Carlos Picassinos)

「我的城市」旨在展示跨界別的文化體驗,突顯城市生活多樣的人文面貌。透過音樂、映像藝術與設計的糅合, 讓大家以更富創意的角度深入體會這個城市。 「我的城市」始於2006年創辦的活動「+853 – 國際代碼,本地差異」 (+853- for the global inscription of a local difference), 邀請參與者共同探索澳門的兩處中式舊城區,從中推動城市的多樣性,之後亦本著這個理念舉辦了兩項活動。
This Is My City
Aims to celebrate the urban life in its diversity of cultures and peoples. By combining music, video art and design, this event invites everyone to experience the city in a sophisticated and creative way, by presenting a multidisciplinary cultural experience. The event started in 2006 with “+853 - for the global inscription of a local difference” by combining two different venues in the old Chinese part of Macau, inviting the participants to explore the old Chinese neighbourhood, in an effort to promote the city in all its diversity. URBAN PANORAMA WORKSHOP * Macau Skyline Architectural Research * This is my City, this is my Skyline by MovingCities [Bert de Muynck+Mónica Carriço] in collaboration with Nuno Soares
A two-day workshop explores Macau’s urban landscape by investigating the relation between the visual quality and the mental image of the city which is held by its citizens. Using strategies of experimental and empirical field research along Macau’s rooftops and sightseeing spots, a parcour will form the set-up for an intensified collaborative design workshop. By reading Macau “from within” its territory, landmarks and new building geographies will be identified, laying focus on three components of the city's skyline (character, structure, and meaning). Through research and design this workshop’s main objective is to understand the potentialities of bringing new types of architectural approaches onto its territory, by reading and interpreting the current state and by projecting speculative designs, so to transform, strengthen and discuss its urban features. The expected outcome will be a “what if” scenario based on a series of optical transformations of Macau's skyline. Contrary to common belief, a city does not have one fixed and single skyline, as the urban environment is not a stable entity that can be solely understood from one viewpoint only. A myriad of perspectives determines its image. By exploring Macau from a unique set of locations, from atop rooftops to other vista points, the workshop investigates what a series of skylines tell about Macau's urban complexion. What can be read in its horizon, not from outside the city, but from within, and how does this shape the understanding of the city? How do singled-out architectures dominate the view and act as point of references? The analysis and effects of physical and perceptible architectural constructions are one of the foundations for city design. The workshop uncovers the role of form in the creation of the city's image. Investigating in research and design the shifting perception of architectural forms, the participants will bring their findings and speculation in relation with the future development of Macau.
TIMC 2009 is an innovative event centered around new forms of organization and participation. Revolving around an alternative city walk/workshop by architects exploring a vernacular and unusual side of Macau, TIMC 2009 stimulated a variety of players to graft different components/trajectories. These ranged from theoretical and empirical urban observations over sound and visual arts in order to create a substantial setting. Taking Macau as a source of visual and audio elements, producer Dead J and visual artist ChenXiongwei appropriates the city through sampling with the objective to merge these fragments into a live performance. 城市全景工作坊--「澳門建築輪廓研究」 – 我的城市,我的輪廓 由「移動城市」[伯德孟+莫妮卡‧卡瑞蘇] 與 Nuno Soares 聯合帶領
參與者在為期兩天的工作坊中探索了澳門的城市景觀,檢視澳門人心目中的城市形象與視覺素質的關係,在過程中走遍樓頂和名勝點作實地考察,從城內解 讀澳門,特別注視城市輪廓中的三個元素(身份、結構和意義),辨識出城中的陸標和新建築的地貌。整個工作坊的目的,是要藉著實驗性的研究和設計, 了解新 的建築方法會為城市帶來 些可能性;另亦解讀城市的現況,投入不同的揣摩和設計,進而改變、強化、討論澳門的城市特徵,而大家就連串城市輪廓的視覺變 革,想出種種「假如…會怎麼樣」的景象。城市輪廓不如大 想像般固定且單一,都市環境並非一個穩定的個體,亦不可單從一個角度了解,城市的形象往往取 決於多重的景觀。工作坊的成員從這小城裡各具特色的樓頂到其他名勝點,探視澳門的都市輪廓面貌,觀看的方式從城內出發,並非城外,這樣如何形塑各人 對城市的認知?特出的建築物如何支配著整個景觀,成為一個依據點?都市設計的其中一個基礎就是分析建築的形體結構以及其形響。參與者認識到結構在 創建城市形象中所扮演的角色,在一番研調設計後分享他們對澳門未來發展的預視和發現。
TIMC 09 | impression by MovingCities How to appropriate, understand and react upon a city in barely two days? For TIMC09 we tested a new formula and showed the city as experienced from above, from different rooftops. Macau is an island condition where tourists do not stay for too long and locals do not to travel to far. Even so, it is incredibly diverse; TIMC 09 gave us the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the clash between daily life chaos, the slick gaming structures and the life, traffic and movement in-between all of these. TIMC09 was an experiment in interaction: with a possible future of the city and the reality of its residents. 我的城市(TIMC) 09 I 形象 by 移動城市 如何在僅僅兩天內了解澳門小城和作出對應?我們在TIMC嘗試了一個新方法: 從不同的樓頂上體會整個城市。在澳門這個小島,遊客駐足的時 間不長,而本地人也走不遠。即使如此,小城的多元化面貌叫人意想不到,TIMC讓大家一瞥城中日常生活中的不同沖揱、浮華的賭場建築結 構以及其中的生命力、交通和活動等。TIMC09是一項互動實驗:設想城市的未來的可能性,和此地居民的現實生活。

TIMC 10 CURATORIAL TEAM TEASER THOUGTS Manuel C S When in the 80’s the Benetton Group launched their world famous communication campaign underlining the human meaning of their brand name: UNITED COLORS of BENETTON, the world was in the turmoil of the cold war and apartheid. The dual tone reality was ON. You were black or you were white, you were red or you were blue. At that time Benetton publicized in cities around the world with their outdoors and mupis the multicolor diversity of human kind. Nowadays the Berlin wall is down and Mandela is free, the attention has shifted to a global analysis of our presence. Cities take over citizens and the planet seems to belong to all of us. The threats are global, the challenges are global, and so what are the global colors? In 2001, which made Brussels the de facto capital of the European Union, Rem Koolhaas and his think-tank AMO – an independent part of OMA – suggested the development of a "Barcode" as a symbol of Europe. The barcode seeks to unite the flags of all EU member countries into a single, colorful symbol. Our cities are colorful places teeming with people from all parts of the globe and all sorts of backgrounds. An organism equipped with the tools, the minds and the infrastructures, for the development of new ideas and creative solutions for the future. The GREEN / GREY CITY theme of this year’s THIS IS MY CITY is the starting point for the discussion of the creative, economic, artistic, philosophic and ecologic relation we have with the world from local to global point of view.
VASCO BISMARCK The dichotomy between two colours can result in different visual perceptions of an image, an object or in the sense with get. As commonly defined, green colour mainly symbolizes hope and growth, and is regularly also associated with regeneration, fertility and rebirth for its relationship with nature. On the other hand, grey colour is usually associated with aging or the passage of time and used pejoratively by environmentalists to describe those who like granite, concrete and other City materials, opposed to the term "greens" favourably to environmentalist. Applied this colour concepts to a large and amplified scale as a City, it can result in the different perceptions one can get from what it can see and feel in it. What perceptions one can tell from Green and Grey colours applied at an urban City life? Which feelings those colours give to our daily urban life in a City? Are they a part of it? Can they exist together? Do you feel the predominance of one against to other? Have your say. Show us your view and perspective.
CLARA BRITO The aesthetics of GREY/GREEN I have always been obsessed with the display of Objects. I feel intrigued not so much by the things but by the way they can be related with each other. In my house I take time to decide the manner a 70 years old, technical, book with a GREEN faded cover lies in the cold GREY metal shelf and its relation with a 40 years old beautiful wood ruler. As if on those moments I am painting, I take into serious consideration each detail; color, texture, light, function and the geometrical position of each item. Looking to my House as a CITY I tend to colorize my obsession as GREEN as I find in Nature a similar proportion accuracy. In some areas of Macau I define them as GREY, as they are chaotic, dirty and not obliged to the same mathematical precision I use in my house. Nonetheless what most astonishes me is the fact that I find on both an amazing aesthetic richness. Those are the GREY / GREEN aesthetics.
Manuel C S The Benetton Group 從八十年代起就打造了他們舉世聞名的牌子名稱:UNITED COLORS of BENETTON,承載了一定的人本意 義,當時世界正陷入冷戰與種族隔離的焦慮中,顏色的存在是二元的--非黑即白,非紅即藍。 其時Benetton在各個城市中的廣告板上宣傳的是不同種族多元的色彩。 現在,柏林圍牆倒下了,曼德拉亦重獲自由了,全球的注意力轉移到我們的存在。城市大於人民,世界屬於我們所有的人。威脅是 全球性的,挑戰也是全球性的,所以什麼是全球的顏色? 2001年,布魯塞爾成為了歐盟的首府,庫哈斯(Rem Koolhaas)和他的智囊團AMO -- 即大都會建築事務所OMA的一個獨立小組 – 建議了用「條碼」來作為歐洲的象徵,把所有歐盟成員國的國旗聯合起來,形成一個單一卻色彩斑斕的符號。 我們的周遭聚滿了來自世界不同角落且背景迥異的人,把他們的工具、基礎建設和智慧帶到城市這個有機體,為未來發展注入各樣 新思維和創意。 今年的「我的城市」主題為「綠/灰城市」,從本地到全球的角度出發,在創作、經濟、藝術、哲學和生態的面向展開對話,討論我 們與世界的關係。
VASCO BISMARCK 兩種不同的顏色能夠使我們對同一形象、物件產生截然不同的視覺體會。 大眾所認知的綠色通常象徵著希望與成長,或是聯想起大自然中的復興、生育與重生。 另一方面,灰色令人容易聯想到時間消逝,對環保人士來說,灰色含有貶意,跟綠色相對,通常用來形容那些喜歡花崗石、水泥和 其他城市建材的人。 若把這個概念引伸到城市中放大注視,大家看到的感覺到的,都會不一樣。把綠與灰兩種顏色應用在都市生活中,會引起什麼觀感 變化? 生活在都市中,我們對綠和灰的感覺是什麼?這兩種顏色是我們生活的一部分嗎?可以同時存在嗎?其中一種顏色會否壓倒另外一 方?告訴我們你的意見吧。
CLARA BRITO 灰/綠美學 我對物件陳列非常狂熱,感興趣的並非事物本身,而是它們之間的聯繫。 在家裡我會花時間思考這樣的事情,例如把一本有七十年歷史,封面呈褪落綠色的舊工具書放在冷灰色的鐵架上,又或看看那本書 跟一個有四十年久的漂亮老木尺的組合。 那些時刻,就像油畫一樣,我可以深思每一項物件的顏色、質感、光線、功能和幾何位置。 如果要把我的家看成城市一樣的話,我會說我的狂熱是綠色的,因為我對事物排列的精準度一如大自然般。 我會把澳門的一些區域定義為灰色,因為它們的髒亂,並不如我家中的東西般井然有序。 不過最叫我驚奇的時綠跟灰皆極富美學色彩。 這就是我對綠/灰的美學觀感。

Cédric Maridet * ARTIST_ FR>HK
Cédric Maridet is an artist and researcher. He received his Doctorate degree in Media Art in 2009 at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, where he pioneered sound art courses. His research aims at clarifying fundamentals in the heterogeneity of listening intentions in order to frame essential connections for sound art in a holistic perceptual and theoretical approach. His art practice in video and sound relays his theoretical concerns on the act of listening and mainly takes the form of fixed and real-time compositions and installations. His solo and collaborative works have been exhibited worldwide including Art in General (New York), Théatre de la Villette (Paris), IG Bildende Kunst (Vienna), Kettle’s Yard (Cambridge), the 2007 Shenzhen and Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture (Shenzhen), Para/Site Art Space (Hong Kong), and more recently Ramiken Crucible (New York) and Turbine Hall, Tate Modern (London). He was awarded Prize of Excellence in the Hong Kong Art Biennial 2005 for his video work Huangpu (collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art). He has participated in many residencies, including in Asia Art Archive (Hong Kong), and he has conducted several workshops and public talks on field recording and listening theories. He is also a contributor for the open-microphones project and member of the development committee NMSAT (Network Music and Sound Art Timeline) of French-based research lab in audio art Locus Sonus (école Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence, école NationalSupérieure d’Art de Nice Villa Arson). He is also advisor for soundpocket, a non-profit organisation promoting soundart and culture. He has published some of his works on his platform monème that he has founded in June2004.
José Drummond * ARTIST _PT>MO
José Drummond (1965, Lisbon, Portugal) works with video, painting and photography. With more than 20 years experience in the field his works are elaborated between the realm of memory and the realm of experience. They are works that use of a visual vocabulary and a conceptual language that addresses singular aspects of identity and/or multi-personality. The thoughts, dreams and hopes of the persona and where does the alter ego manifest itself. Self-explanatory the questions that his works raise are often left unanswered. The possible seems true but seems to exist with many deceptions and fictions. There’s an absolute proposition that lies on the exam of how ambiguous identity and reality are. The plastic decisions are done via retakes and variations where the artist tries to increase the dynamic between audience and author by objectifying emotions and investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. The possibility of the annulment of a fixed identity is a constant focal point.
Ricardo Pinto * JORNALIST_ MO>PT
出生於1962年5月15日。由八十年代開始以記者身份任職於澳門電台,及後返回葡國,於報章雜誌兼職撰寫關於賽車文章的同時,並於1987年完成法律學位。1987年至1990年期間,於葡國電視台RTP 任職報道員及主播,前後分別從事於體育部及新聞時事部。1990年重返澳門並加入本地電視台TDM,工作至1997年。1998年1月,委任為本地葡文報紙《句號報》的社長,此報紙亦即現時其下擁有的刊 物。2007年,創立英語雜誌《澳門特寫》(Macau Closer),及後發展為中英雙語雜誌。最近更投身於多媒體製作,剛完成有關南中國海海盜故事的紀錄片拍攝。
Born May 15 1962, started his career as a journalist in 1980 working for Radio Macau. Back to Portugal, completed his graduation in Law in 1987, while doing part-time jobs in newspapers and magazines dedicated to motorsports. From 1987 to 1990, worked in Portuguese TV (RTP) as a reporter and anchorman, first in the Sports Department and later in Current Affairs. He returned to Macau in 1990 to join local TV station (TDM), where he stayed until December 1997. In January 1998, he became the director of local Portuguese newspaper Ponto Final, which he now owns. In 2007 he launched Macau Closer magazine, an English-only publication, which later developed into a bilingual magazine (English and Chinese). Recently, he started to focus on multimedia productions, having just finished a documentary about Pirates Tales in South China Sea.
Nuno Soares * ARCHITEC_PT> MO
Nuno Soares is an Architect and Urban Planner graduated by the Lisbon Faculty of Architecture (2004), where he has post-graduated in Modern and Contemporary Architectural Culture (2007) and is currently a PhD candidate in Urbanism. Since 2000, collaborates in research projects in the Department of Urbanism at the Lisbon Faculty of Architecture, having participated as photography author on the project that led to the publication of the books Squares in Portugal – Public Spaces Inventory (2007) and on the ongoing project on “The Street in Portugal”. Working in Macau as an architect since 2003, Nuno Soares is a board member of the Architects Association of Macau and a visiting lecturer at the University of St. Joseph since 2008. He develops a practice based on his urban/architectural research on the Pearl River Delta region and Lusophone space and is currently writing his PhD thesis on the use of space in Macau’s urban phenomenon.
Joshua Roberts * ARCHITECT _USA>HK
Joshua Roberts, is a designer, writer, and editor based in Hong Kong. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Rice University and studies at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Archeworks, he received a Masters of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of Perspective, a Hong Kong-based architecture and design magazine, and worked previously for the Department of Publications at the Harvard GSD on numerous publications and exhibitions. As an architect and designer he has worked on projects of various scales in the United States, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Europe. In addition he has served as a guest design critic and lecturer at various institutions in Hong Kong and the US. Currently he is a Visiting Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong.
Tiago Quadros & Margarida Saraiva _ PT>MO
Margarida Saraiva is PhD candidate in History and Heritage Studies at the University of Saint Joseph, holds a Master of Arts in European Cultural Planning by the Montford University, Leicester, UK, a Post-Graduation in Cultural Tourism by the Institute of European Studies, Macau and a Major degree in History and Art History by the Humanities Faculty of Porto University. Presently she works as Researcher and Curator of the Macau Museum of Art and as Assistant Professor of Intangible Heritage at the Heritage Management Course of the Institute of Tourism Studies. She is also a regular contributor to the Newspapers Hoje Macau, Macao Daily Times and Revista Macau addressing subjects as Art, Architecture and Urban Planning History. Tiago Quadros holds a Master in Color in Architecture by the Faculty of Architecture at Lisbon Technical University, Portugal, and a Major degree in Architecture by the Faculty of Architecture at Porto University. Presently he works as Visiting Professor at the Architecture Course of the University of Saint Joseph. He is also a regular contributor to the Newspaper Hoje Macau addressing subjects as Architecture and Urbanism.
James Chu Cheok Son * ARTIST _ MO 澳門出生。1990年起先後跟隨王禎寶先生及蘇沛權先生學習版畫於「視覺藝術學院勃度羅版畫工作室」,1998年初畢業於「澳門理工學院藝術高等學校」平面設計系第一屆學士學位課程。2008年香 港嶺南大學文化研究系碩士。熱愛各類形藝術創作活動。澳門婆仔屋藝術空間、全藝社、三巴藝門及澳門佳作有限公司創辦人之一。2002至2004年間擔任民政總署文化康體部文化設施處處長,主要 負責發展及管理博物館及圖書館事務。2005年至2008年1月任職澳門藝術博物館,負責展覽策劃、藝術教育及宣傳推廣等工作。現職設計、攝影、展覽策劃及藝術顧問等工作,以及擔任澳門全藝社會 員大會會長、北京全藝社總監。作品收藏:澳門東方基金會、澳門藝術博物館、香港凱悅酒店及私人收藏等。 Chu Cheok Son was born in Macao. He learned engravings in the 1990s successively from James Wong Shenbao and from Sou Pui Kun at Macao Visual Art Academy. At the beginning of 1998 he graduated from the Department of Graphic Communication, with a Bachelor Degree at School of Arts of Macao Polytechnic Institute. In 2008, he completed a Master Degree on Cultural Studies at the Lingnan University in Hong Kong. Personally, he loves ardently various artistic expressions. One of the founders of Art For All (AFA) Society, St. Paul’s Fine Art, The Macao Old Ladies' House Art Space and Macau Creative Co. Ltd. From 2002 until 2004, he had been working as the post of Head of Cultural Installation Division of Cultural and Recreational Services of Macao Civic and Municipal Affair Bureau, Macao S.A.R. mainly responsible for the Museums and Libraries management and development. From 2005 to January of 2008 had been working at Macao Museum of Art as a curator and person-in-charge for the art education and promotion section. Presently the 1/2 Creative Director and Managing Director of Macau Creations Co. Ltd, also the Director of General assemble of Art For All Society, Director of AFA Beijing. Works had been collected by Fundação Oriente Macau, Macau Museum of Art, Hong Kong Hyatt hotel and other private collectors.

Fortes PaKeong Sequeira My name is Fortes, Pakeong Sequeira and I was born in Macau 1978.i am a graduated in Design from the School of Arts of Macao Polytechnic Institute, majoring in graphic design. I am also a bandman of Blademark which is a Macau local canto-metal band. I started my line drawing when I was a kid, maybe 5 something, I used to make them as black and white, some some of my friends think it's most like graffiti, but also ask me if my painting is traditional chinese drawing in china? Is it Gong Bi Hua?...actually I don't really mind about what style is my painting, I'm just doing what I can do!
Vincent Hoi * MOVIE MAKER _ MO 許國明,別名小鳥,拍板視覺藝術團創團成員,1992年畢業於澳門大學,曾分別於澳門賽馬會影視傳播部、香港有線電視及澳廣視任職,現為自由身電影錄像工作者、澳門電台<音樂蒙太奇>節目主 持、澳門理工學院及iCentre 兼職講師。 曾於2002年完成澳門有史以來第一套幕前幕後全由澳門人擔任的長片<鎗前後>,近年作品有<夜了又破曉>、 <堂口故事之紙飛機>,及最新短片作品<壹塊錢>。 Vincent Hoi, aka ‘Little Bird’, one of the founder members of Associação Audio-Visual Cut, graduated from University of Macau in 1992. He had worked in Audio-Visual Department of Macau Jockey Club, HK Cable TV and Teledifusão de Macau (TDM). He currently works as a freelance film/video maker, part-time DJ of TDM Radio, part-time lecturer of Macau Polytechnic Institute as well as iCentre. In 2002, he made a feature film called <Aim vs Peep> which is the first-ever local feature film made totally by people from Macau. The latest works include <Before Dawn Cracks>, <Macau Stories – Paper Plane> and the most recent short film <Just One Dollar>.
Yves Etienne Sonolet * MULTIMEDIA ARTIST_ FR>MO
Yves Etienne Sonolet was born in France. Having a multicultural background he has spent his early years in the US and Britain. He Holds a Master Degree with honors in Fine Art and Communications from the “Ecole supérieure des Beaux Arts de Toulouse”, France. Since then he has lived and worked in Paris as a Freelance designer and artist before moving to Macau. Yves has initiated and participated in art projects in public space. He is interested in mixing medias and creating art where it is less expected. He is currently teaching video in relation to theatre in the Integrated Arts course of Hong Kong University Space (HKUS) and Interactive graphics and design in University St Joseph Macau (USJ).

PechaKucha Night was devised in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in
public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
