延續「我的城市」的一貫作風,今年活 動亦在教育行動環節加入工作坊,以實 現“科技成就創意”的主題。活動旨在 讓參與者學會自製機件,應用於日常生 活或未來的藝術創作。作品本身亦可成 為一種藝術創作。工作坊內容涉及電 路控制(電路擾動),可編程的運行平 台和微處理器操作,如 Arduino、傳感 器、燈光及音響裝置等。課程主要對象 為年青人,同時歡迎有興趣的廣大市民 參與。工作坊致力將創意融入科技,宣 揚“自己動手創作”的概念。

Workshop, inserted on the Educational Actions chapter, giving form to the theme Creativity Through Technology. Being an intended objective to give the participants know-how and skills that will permit them to build their own gadgets to be used and incorporated on future art works, or even constitute, by itself, a form of artistic and creative expression. The Workshop will focus on the circuit manipulation (circuit bending), programmable platforms and microcontrollers such as Arduino, sensors, lights and sound devices. It is conceived, primarily, for young people although it is opened to the general public who have interest in learning new things. The Workshop will try to make the bridge between the creative and technologic worlds, having in mind the “Do It Yourself” (DIY) concept.

Tiago Fróis Has a degree in Sculpture by the Fine Arts School at the University of Lisbon. Does work and research on the fields of Photography, Sculpture and on Site Intervention. Is the artistic director, producer and programmer at the Cultural Association “ Associação Cultural de Arte e Comunicação – Oficinas do Convento” (Montemor-oNovo, Portugal) where he does work as an artistic curator, coordinator and programmer at events such as “Ananil” and Cidade PreOcupada”, and on other cycles focused on contemporary art, landscape and site intervention. He also does in lab research on plastic arts and sound devices creation at the “Convento de S. Francisco” laboratory. He participates and collaborates as a coauthor on many other creative projects.

PechaKucha Night was devised in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images X 20 seconds. This format makes presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. After the success of the 2010’s first ever PechaKucha Night in Macau at the This Is My City event, this year the Powered by PechaKucha conferences are back in town, and will happen on two different nights, at two different venues with two different groups of speakers. Speakers from diverse backgrounds, cultures and trades will

Chan Ka Keong works as a graphic designer, filmmaker and visual artist. His work has been exhibited in Macau, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan since 1999. His design and photography works have won numerous awards. As a core member of Macau film association “Associacão de Audio-visual CUT” since 2003, Chan is dedicated to promoting local film and video industries. He’s one of the directors in “Macau Stories”(2008), and one of the planners of “Macau Stories 2 - Love in the city”(2010) Film Festivals: “Hong Kong Asian Film Festival”(2009), “The 19th China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival”(2010), “Macau International Film and Video Festival 2012”, “The 5th Chinese Film Young Generation Forum”(2010)

彭韞 牆 這件作品以一個循環播放的錄像的形 式展示。 在城市化進程不斷加劇的今 天,各處不斷的重復上演著建構破壞, 破壞建構的情景。而身處其中的個體又 何嘗不是如此,在不斷的自我建構與推 翻,再推翻再建構中前行著。 我搭建 一面牆將自己圍起來,拆掉,再建起 來,再拆掉,再建起來…不停的重復, 沒有開始也沒有結束。此次將展示在 兩個地方拍攝的作品,一個是中國澳 門,一個是葡萄牙的 Montemor。我首先 完成了在澳門的拍攝,然後受邀於澳門 的「 +853文化協會」,在兩位設計師 的邀請下參加其在葡萄牙的“THIS IS MY CITY”的活動,前往葡萄牙中部的美麗城 市 Montemor。這兩個城市是很不同的, 澳門是一個“大城市”, 卻是一個人 口非常密集的“小城市”;而 Montemor 卻恰巧相反,這裡是一個人口約2千人 的小城鎮,人均佔地面積遠遠超過澳 門,天高地闊。 我試圖將這兩種完全 不同的地域特質在作品里呈現出來, 呈現身在其中的個體的我的不同感受。 澳門,我將作品拍攝現場,設定在一面 牆的前面,在牆的面前再搭建我的牆, 這種不斷重複,這種緊迫感是我想呈現 的。 Montemor,我將作品拍攝現場,選 在城鎮的至高點,古老城堡的旁邊,這 裡能俯瞰整個城市,藍天白雲在身後自 由飄蕩,隨著我的牆一點點的建立再一 點一 點的拆除,不斷循環,這種體驗 是與澳門完全不同的,無論是在視覺上 還是在心裡上。這件作品是我對“THIS IS MY CITY”的註釋,是一種移情與代入。
Peng Yun The Wall “This piece of work is displayed in the way of video looping. In the days of continuous acceleration of urbanization, a repetitive scenario of construction and destruction, destruction and construction plays itself out just about everywhere. An individual in such scenario cannot help but move along in the same repetitive pulsation of self-constructing and over-throwing. I build a wall around me, then break it down, build it up again, break it down again, repeating the building and breaking, no beginning and no ending. Works from two locations are shown, one from Macao in China and one from Montemor in Portugal. I rendered the shooting in Macau before being invited by the two designers from [ Cultural Association +853] to participate in the event “ This Is My City”, in the beautiful city of Montemor on the midlands of Portugal. These two cities are quite different from each other, Macao is a “big city” and at the same time a densely populated “little city”; where as Montemor is the other way around, it is a small town with about two thousand people on average, the area of land per person, over there in Montemor, exceeds by far that of over here in Macau; the sky is high and the land is broad. My attempt is to show the utterly different geographical characteristics of the two, and the different feelings that I, as an individual, got to experience. The set in Macao is in front of a wall where I build my wall, this sense of repetition and pressing is precisely what I want to show. The set in Montemor is at the very top spot of the city next to an ancient castle where the whole city is in view, white clouds floating in blue sky in the background while I build my wall,

DEAD J(邵彥棚)是目前中國音樂界最 令人感興趣的人物之一。在北京, 100 名DJ好手和眩目的大型迪斯科掌控著整 個電子音樂界,本土製作人已越來越 少,DEAD J無疑是其中最引人注目的一 位。 邵 彥 棚 1981 年 出 生 於 河 北 。 從 2001 年 開始,他開始了自己的電子音樂創 作 , 2004 年 , 他 與 山 水 唱 片 的 領 軍 人 Sulumi組成了Panda Twin進行電子音樂演 出。他們掩藏在手製熊貓面具背後,帶 來了一場場充滿活力的IDM和Break Core 演出。在此期間,邵彥棚化名為 DEAD J 在 山 水 廠 牌 發 表 了 很 多 單 曲 。 2005 年,DEAD J個人簽約“摩登天空”,決 定追求“做聰明的電子音樂”。同年, 他發行了其驚人之作《心象》。正如 名字所暗示的一樣,它以豐富的細碎 節拍和夢一般的旋律戲弄了聽者的耳 朵。2006年,DEAD J又發行了第二張專輯 《幻術》,進一步展示了與未知世界景 象融為一體的電子音樂。2007年,DEAD J 憑借《幻術》在“華語音樂傳媒大奬” 上被評為年度“最佳電子樂藝人”。 2008年,DEAD J完成了第三張個人專輯《 幻象》,再一次施展他的聲音魔術,鑒 於《心象》和《幻術》分別代表著夢幻 電子和迷人聲象,幻象考慮到的則是深 度。在充滿未來感的太空氛圍中,DEAD J不斷拉深和推進與聽眾之間的距離, 不同線索的旋律和節拍交織在一起,達 成了冷暖的立體空間概念,將他的音樂 語言推展到新的境界。 《心象》、《幻術》和《幻象》是DEAD J在專輯概念上玩的一個文字遊戲,從 一個側面也反映了DEAD J在當下時期對 個人作品的態度,它們也可以被看作是 DEAD J七年電子樂生涯的一個三部曲。 同時,DEAD J拓寬他的音樂領域,把自 己獨特的音樂理念延伸到了舞台劇和電 影音樂領域,在先鋒話劇導演孟京輝的 《鏡花水月》、《戀愛的犀牛》等劇中 擔任作曲和音樂策劃。

駐場藝術創作 2012“我的城市”活動在葡萄牙完滿落 幕,而今年活動再次加入駐場藝術創作 環節。上次的活動加強了葡萄牙、澳門 和北京三地藝術界的聯系,在此基礎 上,“我的城市”將會再邀請六位來自 澳門及北京的創意工作者到葡萄牙進行 藝術交流。Montemor-o-Novo城市將會 是今次葡國藝術之旅的起點。“我的城 市”活動的宗旨,是希望透過讓藝術家 們體驗當地風土人情(人煙稀疏、寧 靜、愁緒),感受與自己城市形成的反 差(噪音、擁擠、活力等),從而創作 出能反映空間融合,又突顯各空間生活 及居住方式異同的作品。讓人思考決定 城市生活及居住模式的因素是什麼?不 同的模式又如何影響人們表達藝術的 方式?和2012年“我的城市”活動一 樣,2014年的活動亦會展出“駐場藝術 創作”的作品,以促進城市間的藝術交 流。
Creative Residencies After the success of the 2012’s edition of “This Is My City”, that took place in Montemor-o-Novo (Portugal), this year’s program will, once more, include on its actions a Creative Residency. Therefore, and within the strengthening of the liaison established, on 2012, between three diverse and contradicting universes, Montemoro-Novo, Macau and Beijing, “This Is My City” will take to Portugal a group of 6 creators , 4 Macau citizens and 2 Beijing citizens. Montemor-oNovo will constitute the starting point for a sensitive, reflective and experience collecting exploration that will happen throughout Portugal. By Exposing the creators to the existing contrasts between their home cities (crowded, intense, noisy, lively) and the place where the Creative Residency takes place( sparse, serene, silent, melancholic) its expected that the work done by them will reflect the union between diverse universes, what sets them apart and what unites them, giving way to one of the “This is My City” objectives, which is precisely the underlining of different forms of living and of occupying a city, and how these different ways of living, influence the creative and artistic forms of expression. Still, and in resemblance to what happened to the work made on 2012, it’s the intention of “This is My City” to exhibit, on its 2014 edition, the results of the Creative Residencies, fulfilling

Crystal Chan Wai Man, born in Macau in 1986, has pursued Interior Design in Taiwan, and returned to Macau after a year. She then switched to Hotel Management and obtained a bachelor’s degree. During her studies, she worked as an intern in Greece for six months and spent time traveling countries in Europe. She has not received any formal art education but she has been inspired mostly by what she saw and experienced during her trips. She particularly loves drawing portraits because she believes the five sense organs, facial expressions and limbs of a person are the emotional extensions of that person, which are so straightforward, honest and innocent. Her art works cover photography, writing and performing. With her literary works “Inshala”, she won a merit prize under the category of essays in the 3rd Hong Kong City Literary Award 2008. Her photographic and written works included “Something About”, a collection of photographs written and published in collaboration with Wong Kei Cheong in 2012.

The Benetton Group 從八十年代起就打造 了他們舉世聞名的品牌:UNITED COLORS of BENETTON,承載了一定的人本意義, 當時世界正陷入冷戰與種族隔離的焦慮 中,顏色的存在是二元的—非黑即白, 非紅即藍。其時 Benetton在各個城市中 的廣告板上宣傳的是不同種族多元的色 彩。現在,柏林圍牆倒下了,曼德拉亦 重獲自由了,全球的注意力轉移到我們 的存在。城市大於人民,世界屬於我們 所有的人。威脅是全球性的,挑戰也是 全球性的,所以什麼是全球的顏色? 2001年,布魯塞爾成為了歐盟的首府, 庫哈斯(Rem Koolhaas)和他的智囊團 AMO — 即大都會建築事務所OMA的一個 獨立小組 — 建議了用「條碼」來作為 歐洲的象徵,把所有歐盟成員國的國旗 聯合起來,形成一個單一卻色彩斑斕的 符號。 我們的周遭聚滿了來自世界不同角落且 背景迥異的人,把他們的工具、基礎建 設和智慧帶到城市這個有機體,為未來 發展注入各樣新思維和創意。 今年的「我的城市」主題為「綠/灰城 市」,從本地到全球的角度出發,在創 作、經濟、藝術、哲學和生態的面向展 開對話,討論我們與世界的關係。

兩種不同的顏色能夠使我們對同一形 象、物件產生截然不同的視覺體會。大 眾所認知的綠色通常象徵著希望與成 長,或是聯想起大自然中的復興、生育 與重生。另一方面,灰色令人容易聯想 到時間消逝,對環保人士來說,灰色含 有貶意,跟綠色相對,通常用來形容那 些喜歡花崗石、水泥和其他城市建材的 人。若把這個概念引伸到城市中放大注 視,大家看到的感覺到的,都會不一 樣。把綠與灰兩種顏色應用在都市生活 中,會引起什麼觀感變化?生活在都市 中,我們對綠和灰的感覺是什麼?這兩 種顏色是我們生活的一部分嗎?可以同 時存在嗎?其中一種顏色會否壓倒另外 一方?告訴我們你的意見吧。 畢焜 灰/綠美學 我對物件陳列非常狂熱,感興趣的並非 事物本身,而是它們之間的聯繫。在家 裡我會花時間思考這樣的事情,例如把 一本有七十年歷史,封面呈褪落綠色的 舊工具書放在冷灰色的鐵架上,又或看 看那本書跟一個有四十年久的漂亮老木 尺的組合。那些時刻,就像油畫一樣, 我可以深思每一項物件的顏色、質感、 光線、功能和幾何位置。如果要把我的 家看成城市一樣的話,我會說我的狂熱 是綠色的,因為我對事物排列的精準度 一如大自然般。我會把澳門的一些區域 定義為灰色,因為它們的髒亂,並不如 我家中的東西般井然有序。不過最叫我 驚奇的時綠跟灰皆極富美學色彩。這就 是我對灰/綠的美學觀感。

城市全景工作坊--「澳門建築輪廓研 究」 – 我的城市,我的輪廓 由「移動城市」[伯德孟+莫妮卡‧卡瑞 蘇] 與 Nuno Soares 聯合帶領 參與者在為期兩天的工作坊中探索了澳 門的城市景觀,檢視澳門人心目中的城 市形象與視覺素質的關係,在過程中走 遍樓頂和名勝點作實地考察,從城內解 讀澳門,特別注視城市輪廓中的三個元 素(身份、結構和意義),辨識出城中 的陸標和新建築的地貌。整個工作坊的 目的,是要藉著實驗性的研究和設計, 瞭解新的建築方法會為城市帶來哪些 可能性;另亦解讀城市的現況,投入不 同的揣摩和設計,進而改變、強化、討 論澳門的城市特徵,而大家就連串城市 輪廓的視覺變革,想出種種「假如…會 怎麼樣」的景象。城市輪廓不如大眾想 像般固定且單一,都市環境並非一個穩 定的個體,亦不可單從一個角度瞭解, 城市的形象往往取決於多重的景觀。工 作坊的成員從這小城裡各具特色的樓頂
