ENRICO LABRIOLA PHOTOGRAPHY
Lucano, born in 1968, Enrico Labiola developed his photographic skills at a very young age. Dipped in the evocative and incontaminated landscape of basilicata, it’s the nature to be captured by his first polaroid. Hence his particular attention to what he calls ‘the contrast between truth and inner world’. After this first ‘bucolic’ approach to photography, not yet 18, he matures the need to deepen the subject and its tecniques. He choses Milan for his studies and he soon becomes assistant to great professional photographers, from whom he quickly learns the basic skills. Wonderer, he travels all over the world, working both in studios and as a freelancer, realizing
numerous reportages, such as the colour of Rajastan, music and image in Burkina Faso, Maasai people in Kenya, Israel and Morocco, even though, from the age of 14 on, his core business is focused on portraits, fashion magazines and animated advertising. His shots and photographic sevices are published in important national and international magazines such as A magazine, Grazia, Vogue Italy, Vanity Fair Italy, Vibe magazine, Il Mondo, Paris Match, describing his style in constant evolution, including the tecnological aspect of it. I’m always in search of a balanced but refined image capabe of fusing reality with imagination
