STAGE Multistore has been mentioned as a stage where the staff are the actors and the clients are the audience - this describes that concept of the store. Where everything happens and with the focus point aimed at the shoppers as their demands needs to be fulfilled. A stage is also a part of a process - the different stages of a development. Multistore should represent a creative and prosperous process where a person develops further and have the possibility to follow trends and lifestyle of today and the future. The name can also represent the very building and structure of the store and inside stories are being told in front of its audience. The natural name of the inhouse brand would then be Storia – Italian for story.

THE STAGE STORE - A LIVING PLACE
We look at the Stage store as a living and breathing place where the possibility to change and follow trends is a key factor. Therefore it is important to have a flexible interior solution where possibilities to adapt and combine different elements and functions. The store and its interior is an effective way to communicate the brand and it is also in the store where the customers starts to connect and develop a relation to the concept. The display concept is based on the idea that the different parts of the store creates a whole. They can be combined depending on the needs and it’s easy to change style from one week to antoher. They connect to the brand and create a complete picture, together with the rest of the interior. KEY WORDS: Flexible • Functional • Unique

Customised Display System. The tables have large areas to display all different kind of products ranging from clothes to furniturie.
The table sides kan be used for product pictures, ads etc. A nice solution would be to illuminate them for better visibility.

The rooms are on the ground floor and are naturally divided by the iron pillars. The material for the walls can be chosen depending on the theme of the room. You could also develop a flexible display system hanging from the roof / pillars.

Placing the playground next to the café gives the parents a possibility to relax over a cup of coffe.

The café is based on soft shapes inviting the customer for a cup of coffe or a snack. Being near the exit also opens up for the possibilty to take away food.

Café Café counter with space for food displays, cash register, take away etc. possibility to have a bar desk with chairs for lunch guests.
A flexible and simple seating area that does not occupy to much space. It would be nice if it can be stretched to the outside during summer.
A rounded wall shields the café area from the rest of the store. The café is a part of the store concept but diffrentiates with its round and soft shapes that continues throughout the café interior.

Fitting Room
Divided but still open. It should be relieved from stress and with the chance to sit down. The mirrors should be easy accesible for a simple and joyful use. It is important to create an atmosphere that is relaxing and not exposed to the rest of the customers.

The placement creates a natural shield and makes the customer comfortable. Staff is always nearby due to the palcement of the cash register. The wall with the big mirror sets the fitting room apart from the staircase to the office.

Hair dresser and office
The hair dresser and the office should stand out as two transparent boxes at the venue. Creating a room in the room brings out the activities in a nice aclear way. The transparancy should be limited to show movements and a beautiful shadow play at the same time as they are vivid and intriguing to the visitors. The should not be hidden but instead breathe on its own within the store.

Cash register
The till is placed in one end of the store and it is chosen in regards of the activities and not to interfer with events. The staff has also a good view of the store, fitting room and exit/entrance.By placing the till here there will always be staff in this area which would otherwise feel a little bit empty.

Product wall
The function of the wall is to hide the big opening leading to the toilets. It creates a useable wall where products, pictures, ads etc. can be on display. The front consists of boxes where the products can be shown in a unique way. It can alos be used for information about the store and events.

A distinct logo that is visible and stands out. The pay off is an example of how to work with the concept in the store. The use of speech commas is also a play with the concept of expressing yourself.

Steel, wood and glass is used as a starting point when looking for a colour scheme that strengthens the ideas behind the Multistore. This should be looked at more closely as well when the interior design is set. It also refers to the nature and the eco design that is going to be a part of the store and products.

The idea is to focus on all positive elements the Stage store has and then develop this for a campaign and instore. To celebrate and use words such as: possibility / originality /creativity / spirit / variety / individuality etc. It is also easy to continue and develop the theme as the store progress. And you can play safe or be a little bit more quirky and edgy with the message. The concept of storytelling is also very closely connected as you tell a story using the interaction between the model and product – the words and situation combined together creates an imaginary and fictional story.

The brand The basic idea is to build a brand and structure that is flexible and can grow and expand over time. Maybe you would like to have a shoe brand in the near future? Then it should be possible to add that to the existing brand. Hopefully the store will expand to other geographic areas with different customers and demands. Why not adding a new line up for a specific market? It is also possible to build up the credibility and values with the inhouse brand by marketing it as a proper design studio.

If an event is held it would be a great idea to do a follow up and get some feedback. It should not be a form to fill in but more towards a blog and community with pictures and text. Where people have the chance to occupy a little bit of space and be heard. The other ones that were not there should feel that they would really like to go next time. Again, focus on the customer.

The site An internet site is an excellent forum for feedback and information. It also strengthens the connection to the brand.
Use a sms or rss feed for sending out instant information about sales and news from the store and community. The possibility to shop via the web site with easy navigation and access is also a service that many uses today. The experience should continue outside the Multistore as well, with focus on the user.

The wrap concept Wraps started to be popular in the mid 90’s and it is a dish that is possible to serve in evey kind of combination. And the pizza is the unhealthy cousin of the wrap. A good way to find a niche for the concept is to work with local or exotic producers. Important is to do an extensive research in the area where the café is to be placed. The beauty of wraps is the simplicity – easy and fast to serve and with never ending combinations. Have you ever tried wraps for breakfast? Add some yoghurt and fresh fruits, for example cinnamon yoghurt with apple, grapes and ‘Start’ cereals. You can follow the season with different themes – match the colours of autumn. It is easy to keep up a good economy in the kitchen as the basic ingredients are used throughout the whole menue. Or bring it with you when in a hurry. “Take away with flair.”
