Ⅰ. Research Motivation There were two reasons that motivated me to do this research. First, since I have followed many foreign singers, actors/ actresses on Instagram, one day when I was scrolling Instagram like usual, I noticed that many foreign artists have changed their profile pictures into all black; meanwhile, they all posted the same thing— Black Lives Matter . That was the moment I
started to notice this social movement. After that, I learned more about this movement through searching the “BLM” online, and the “ George Floyd case ” impressed me the most. The photo of the scene caught my eyes at the very first moment when I saw it, making me wanna look into the movement deeply.
