PRODUCT DESIGN – Office Reception Chair Designing of furniture for a given environment focuses on the specific needs of the users of the space. Using “modules” as the design concept, and with reference to a few inspirational images, the office reception chair (top left) was designed as an eclectic mix of traditional (the horizontal and vertical grid) and contemporary (the delicate curved edges) elements. The result was a unique modular piece that can be easily transformed from single to multiple seating, and with or without the back rest.
