Prep Now, Benefit Later Conference can be an overwhelming and extremely rewarding experience! Veterans will often share tips and tricks to help you not only with your time at conference, but with take-aways for when you return home. Here is one that is tried and true - and so simple to do!

Grab some Index Cards

Take along some colored index cards. Use a different color for each day if you like. Make two cards for each day. Label one “WOW, do it NOW!” and the other “Love It for Later!” Bring your cards along to your training sessions. When you hear an idea you love, jot it down on your card. All you have to do is prioritize and decide which ideas you want to start now or can be shelved until later! Upon returning home, pull out your Conference Cards and you’ll have the best ideas front and center and can put them to work for you in your business!

Don’t want to do business cards? No problem! Use a notebook, a file on your tablet or phone, whatever works!

Wouldn’t you love it if every single Hostess had a $1,000 party? Well stop dreaming, Alice - it can be done! How bad do you want it? MmmHmm - nothing worth gaining is easy. • What you would like to earn with your Hostess Rewards. Email me the wish list! Take these four simple steps to boost each of your parties to over $1,000! Your Hostess will love you and so will your bank account! From day 1, let your Hostess know that you want her to have a $1000 party and she can if she will help you help her do just that! Let her know what it is going to take and share this info with her. Make sure she understands that the average party order is around $75. If she has 14-15 shopping guests, she’s got a $1,000+ party! Oh yeah!! Here we go!

#1 - The Guest List • Send your guest list three weeks prior to the party and I’ll mail your invitations for you, saving you time and money. • Write guests’ addresses on the enclosed labels and send them to me using the enclosed envelopes. • Our goal is 10-15 guests at your party. • Create a Facebook event to invite people to your party. You can never over invite!! Invite me to the event too!

#3 - Outside Orders

• Get 5 Customer Special orders before your party. • If they can’t come, ask if they would like to order. Around 50% will order if asked! • Post my website on your Facebook event. • Let everyone know they can order online anytime during the party! • Circulate order forms and catalogs at church, work, clubs, kids’ events, etc.

#4 - Reminders

#4 Send out Reminders • A quick call or text 2-3 days before your party will increase attendance. • Let friends know that if they bring a friend, I will have a gift for them. • Post reminders on your Facebook event and tag me in the posts.

The Fall/Winter Product Reveal is always AWESOME especially live at Conference! Are you as excited as I am to see what we have coming? Are you already dreaming and wondering about the new products, new prints, the changes to the catalog, new embroidery, new surprises! WOW! BUT...There’s still a LOT of life left in our Spring/ Summer season ladies! So while we gear up for Conference and start prepping to being our Fall/ Winter run, let’s finish out Spring/Summer strong! Yes, you can walk and chew gum at the same time! You got this! Here are a few tips: 1. Don’t share too soon! If you start sharing Fall/Winter

products now, your sales will decrease for July and we don’t want that! So play it smart and keep things under wraps for a few weeks. Do a little tease, but keep them invested in Spring/Summer! 2. Take all that excitement for the new season and throw it into planning your seasonal launch party now! Make this one a real doozy and pull out all the stops! It’s your time to shine with all the newness the Fall/Winter collection has to offer! 3. Don’t stop selling Spring/ Summer! The season is not over yet! You should be partying and selling right up through the end of the month. Work through your email activity report and keep booking, partying, and sponsoring! 4. Capitalize on the retirement list now!

These are items that are not going to be available after July! Do some customer research and find out who has placed an order with you that needs to know about pieces that are retiring and get the word out to them now! Focus on perfect pairings and complimentary pieces that she will love to make enjoying her products even sweeter this summer. 5. There is a lot going on right now - so stay on top of things! Make sure you are checking TOT several times daily! Products will start to sell out, prints will be limited in some styles, and you don’t want your customers to miss out! Make sure you know what is going on in the Thirty-One world by staying on top of things!

Sponsor for 4! If it ain’t broke...

Sponsor for 4 means that when you’re sharing the opportunity, you should also share that you will help her earn over $1,200 in product for her initial investment – plus the potential of more than $600 in income. And if she loves her Thirty-One Gifts experience, there are additional opportunities to earn trips, promote, and more - especially this summer with our Wishes Come True program! Talk about a recruiting seed! But before you or she can do any of this, you need to sponsor her! At the party, ask her what she would want out of her business - would she enjoy earning free products? How about bringing in more money each month? Maybe she is wanting time out with the girls or a way to meet new people?

For example, during a party you can share details about the Enrollment Kits while saying, “Here are a few of the products that will get you started! It’s all you need to do what I do. You can even recoup your initial investment with your first commission check! By the way, when would you like to receive your first commission check? This month or next?” As you are sharing the opportunity, help her find her “why.” Now, your role is to connect the business want with the why! To make that connection, ask every new Consultant this question: “There are three things that are top of mind for each new Consultant as she starts her Thirty-One business: time, money and product. Out of these three, which are most important to you as you start your business?”

If she is excited about earning lots of product or money, start with not being afraid to focus Let her know you will be there to coach and on those during our parties! cheer her along.
