Alfie S, 10 Sketch through time Sketch was stood on a cliff looking out at the Golden Gate Bridge. All of a sudden she jumped off, landing on the bridge, cracking the road. She started running, almost freezing time, cracking the road behind her. When she got to the end of the bridge her stopwatch read 12 seconds. “Ugh still not fast enough” proclaimed Sketch. Then all of a sudden an atomic blast went off in Britain. Sketch ran across the water ending up in a motorway and there in front of her was her arch enemy Blood Hound. “You mutant mutt! I should have known it was you.” Screamed Sketch. “How did you break out of prison?” “I saw a way out!” Screeched Blood Hound as he ran away. Sketch was running, following the cracks in the road, looking for Blood Hound as she passed the ‘Welcome to Saltburn’ sign. Out of corner of her eye she saw a massive crack in the school and hundreds of children flooding the streets in fear.

Archie A, 7 Once upon a time a boy, who is to be unnamed, moved to a small town called Silverdale. After a few days of living in Silverdale he decided to explore around. He came upon an unusual underground bunker and chose to go in. When he went in, he was amazed at what he saw! He found a glass jewellery case, then he looked in it. There was a blue cape and a red mask! He thought it was just a silly dress up until he put it on... He couldn’t believe his eyes. He had turned into a superhero! He was so shocked he took the costume off and ran home, then had a good night’s sleep. The next morning, he woke up and looked on the news, someone had robbed the bank last night. He ran back to the bunker and decided to try out being a superhero called The Unnamed! When he was walking the streets of Silverdale he came up to an alley with a suspicious random black car. He wondered why it was there, he got closer to the car and saw a person with a black balaclava on holding the stolen cash from the bank. The robber started to drive away when he saw The Unnamed so The Unnamed chased after the car quickly. The car almost got away but The Unnamed has superhero powers; he can jump very high and he jumped on top of the car leaving a dent. The robber jumped out and started to try and get away on foot but The Unnamed has flash speed as well as high jumping. The robber was still running but The Unnamed soon caught up to the robber. It was night time by then so the robber tried to hide in the shadows of Silverdale. After thirty minutes of trying to find the robber, The Unnamed

Some mammies also go to work and drive cars.
Mighty, morphin’ mammies do not wear capes, instead they have lots of different clothes. This makes them very hard to spot.

So I was in my house then suddenly the fire alarm went off. I went downstairs to see the kitchen was on fire and the fire was spreading down the hallway. The front and back doors were blocked so I went upstairs and went into my room. Then my dad came in the fire engine and tried to put out the fire. My dad came into my room and brought me outside. I told my dad: “Thank you for saving me but the dog is stuck in the house!” So my dad went back in and then looked for the dog. He eventually found my dog but the house was still on fire. had to do three years of training before he could go into space. When he quit being an astronaut he said: “I can’t wait to go back home to Saltburn (that’s in England) and eat my favourite fish and chips.” Nicholas’s next goal is to go back to space.
Nicholas moved to London and went to Harrow School. From a young age he had dreamed of going to space. At the age of five he saw Apollo 11. Nicholas’ first mission was the STS-116 from 9-22 December. Dr Patrick was the fourth person from the UK to go to Space. His second mission was his last. Nicholas said: “I can’t wait to return home to Saltburn to enjoy my favourite fish and chips and walk on the pier.” Dr Patrick is 56.

The green liquid started to circle around him but then disappeared altogether. The water started to swirl around him. James steadily started to sink. His face was panic stricken... Meanwhile, Liquado had once again saved the town. While he was walking down Hob Hill Road he suddenly saw a huge green blob rise from the sewers. The blob was laughing hysterically. It was James! Jack C, 11 A legend of powers never to be heard of laid in a chest at the top of Mount Lordu. Nobody had found it until now. The British Army was exploring Mount Lordu until they found the chest. They picked up the chest and descended down the mountain so they could transport the chest to the government so they could securely lock up the chest. Three years later, two sisters called Sue and May (they were about fifty years old) heard about the chest from an army soldier. So they planned to steal the chest from one of the government’s most secure vaults. After one week of

One hour later As they climbed down into the sewer, a huge scent of strawberry toilet water filled the air. “Ugh! How does he live like this?” Puzzled Detective Low held her breath. “We have just arrived at the sewer, Sir, going in now.” Said Detective Amy. The woman burst into tears. Raven took pity on the young mother and gently pushed her behind the wall where she had been hiding. This wasn’t over yet! Raven leaped towards the corona-plant chucking an anti-corona bottle at it. She repeated the process until she got to the last plant with only two bottles left. Raven exhaled slowly, loosening every muscle in her body. She only had a few anti-corona bottles left so this was her only chance. A horrific stench crept up Ruby Street, sinister and uninviting. Then the all too familiar slap of corona-plants drifted up. A scream. Raven sprinted out onto the road, eyes darting about looking for people in need. Suddenly, a young woman with an unconscious toddler in her arms tugged at Ravens magenta sleeve. “Please help us, a corona-plant sprayed my son and he’s got asthma!”
