Having enjoyed sensational reviews, Bill Kenwright’s ‘Amazing’, ‘Superb’, ‘Wonderful’ and ‘Brilliant’ production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling family musical continues to enjoy huge success across the country with standing ovations at every performance. Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.
The sun’ll come out tomorrow! sings little orphan Annie optimistically, as she dreams of a better life. Set in New York City in the lead-up to Christmas 1933, Annie is an award-winning Broadway musical, guaranteed to lift the spirits. Can Annie escape the clutches of the scheming Miss Hannigan and find a new home with a loving family? With its large cast including many talented children - plus Sandy the dog this much loved family musical is sure to appeal to every generation.

LORD OF THE FLIES
SCHOOL WORKSHOPS Liverpool Empire Theatre can do more than just what appears on the stage; we have an active and forward thinking Creative Learning Department who proactively strive to generate educational opportunities for local people to engage creatively with the theatre and the performing arts. We regularly work with schools, colleges and universities from Liverpool and surrounding areas, educating and inspiring the local community through theatre.
Lord of the Flies is a unique project that brings together dancers from Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and young men from across the local area in an extraordinary stage adaptation of William Golding’s classic novel at the Liverpool Empire in September 2014. In March 2014 we will be launching a large-scale community project to find young, local talent. If you are male, aged 10 to 25, and want to be part of this thrilling production then see the link below for news on how to get involved: www.new-adventures.net/ productions/lord_of_the_flies/ getinvolved
