Buying into a program is key in any market and even more important now when we are selling cattle at this level.
Sandy Willow Red Angus has always put their customers first and we are dedicated to making sure you are taken care of after you buy the bull. We have surrounded ourselves with some of the best feeders, backgrounders, finishers, and heifer developers in the country. Every bull will be semen checked and evaluated by Dr. Nate Illiff of Sisseton Vet Clinic prior to delivery. The bulls are guaranteed to be good breeders, and will completely stand behind them if taken care of properly. Again, we want your cows bred and will work with you. We have stood behind these bulls for 20+ years and will continue to do so.

BID OPTIONS
Any bull with a bid option by the price will be available if you would like to raise the bid. We do this on a select few herd bull candidates just to give everyone an opportunity on that bull. We don’t drag this process out but it does work well if two parties are interested in a certain bull.
DELIVERY
We will continue to develop these bulls until near May 1st with no extra cost and when they are semen tested we will deliver free of charge up to 300 miles and will assist the best we can above that. We have never handed anyone a trucking bill at delivery.

Our 2025 Sale Leads off with one of the most complete, balanced bulls in the pen. Willow Consistent 1910 is a full brother to last year’s High Selling Bull at $19,500. Again, this year Goldie 1910 Dam has done it again, the old school way, natural and on her own. Generations of 100-109 mppa females in the pedigree and built in calving ease while maintaining top 3% for growth and performance. Big EPD profile on a wide bodied, attractive herd sire prospect. Prosperity was our pick of the Complete 700E sons out of the Pieper Red Angus program in 2022. At Sandy Willow we calve later than most purebred breeders, so we are strict on soundness, high libido, scrotal, and the mothers have to calve in a tight interval. Our bred heifers and cows all start at the same time and the treatment is the same. The weak links fell through the cracks years ago and now we have a set of cows that makes it easy. Come take a look, we want these genetics to go to work for you. 2209 has got more top, rib, and flank than any in the pen; Matchmaker x 8-Ball = New Blood!
This Clifftop daughter has done a nice job on her first try and to receive a 5/5 dam and udder score in our group of females she must have done everything right on her own in a commercial cattleman’s setting. We love to work but have a zero tolerance for babysitting a cow around here. Glenn is known to retag a cow with a Tues tag if she ever needs help in a headgate. That fall she goes to town on Tuesday, and after a few years of that we don’t change many tags nowadays. Old school rules around here, no matter what the numbers say they should be!

Willow Respect 1808 walks around like a real bull and has super width over the top and a rear end that makes you look twice. This bull is gaining at the top of the pen and has all the pieces to be heard about in the Red Angus breed. Not many power bulls are as maternally sound as 1808. Plus, he may be as good looking as any bull we have delivered. This guy will add some “Respect” to the Red Angus breed!

American Made was our pick and the leadoff bull in the 2020 Pieper Red Angus Sale. He could be on of the best One of a Kind sons to date. We are excited with what we have seen in his first calf crop, as he stamps them all with bone, body length and width, and that signature rear quarter you won’t find anywhere else in the breed. We bought him for his power and maternal side, but he has really rang the bell for consistent calving ease. His dam, Bieber Tilly 399W, has also produced a breed great, Bieber Rolling Deep, so the best part may be yet to come. His first sons sold last year here and at Piepers.
