We want to welcome you to the 43rd annual Hall Ranch registered Angus bull sale. These two-year-old bulls are pasture-raised, range-ready, and will work for you. We appreciate your interest in our program and the genetics we have continued to develop and provide for your evaluaton.
The industry we find ourselves working in provides us with plenty of rewards and several different challenges. Over the year, we have been blessed to have seen an abundance of rain followed by a winter full of snow. We’ve witnessed the drastic temperature changes that the place we call home deems normal. One thing remains the same, throughout these blessings and hurdles, we love to run black cattle. So please, look at our genetics to see if they will help your program like they have helped countless others throughout our 60+ years in the registered Angus business.
During the fall and winter, we have witnessed several customers topping or near topping the markets with their quality feeder cattle and yearlings. We would love to have you be among them. We know our product will help you succeed. Ask our customers if you don’t want to take our word for it. Ask the buyers. Ask the people in the sale barns. Our two-year-old bulls are pasture-raised and range-ready. They will produce efficient, easy keepers with the power to grow and perform. They will sire moderate birth weight calves that have the potential to grow into functional cattle for the feeder markets. At Hall Ranch, we believe the bulls do the work every cattleman wants out of their sires.
If you have any selection questions, give us a call. We always invite you to evaluate the bulls on their home ground 8.5 miles north of Bassett. We are working with DVAuction again, so you will be avble to view videos in February. Look for links on our website, www.hallranchangus.com, or on Facebook, Hall Ranch Angus, or Instagram, @hallranchangus1902. The bulls will be in town on March 5th if all else fails. See you, Wednesday, March 6th, at the Bassett Livestock Auction!
Sincerely,

Bulls sell under the standard terms and conditions established by the American Angus Association. Sale block announcements on sale day will take precedence. Hall Ranch will retain 1/3 interest in all bulls selling. Buyer retains full possession and salvage value.
first breeding season guarantee:
All bulls are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following first turnout of bulls. Credit for the amount of purchase, less $3,000 per bull, will be applied toward a bull for replacement. Credit can be used at the time of loss if the buyer finds that we have a suitable replacement available. If the buyer prefers, the credit can be used at the following year’s sale on a bull. The buyer will keep the salvage value of the injured bull. This is not a mortality insurance policy. Mortality insurance will be available at the buyer’s expense on sale day.

This is the first year I have DNA tested bulls using the AngusGS test. More information on the bulls can be found on pages 20-21. You can visit www.angus.org and use the Animal Search bar for an expanded EPD profile or call Les for more information.
