THE SUFFOLK WORLD

Welcome to the first edition of the Suffolk World. This a new publication of the brand new North American Suffolk Sheep Society. This publication is destined to promote the great breed of sheep –Suffolks.

The society was formed on January 1, 2023 to provide registration services along with promoting and celebrating all facets of the Suffolk breed. A group of dedicated breeders have worked hard to build this society from the ground up. They have established by-laws, set up a vigorous youth program and worked hard to be inclusive of all segments of the breed.

Schedule:

• June 14th Check-in from 12 PM-3 PM. All Photo and Art entries are to be submitted at this time as well. Check-in will take place at the sheep barn on the Missouri State fairgrounds.

• June 14th Speaking Contest for all age groups starts at 2 PM.

• June 14th Fitted and Shorn Fitting contest for all age groups.

• June 14th Junior Member Meeting will follow the conclusion of the fitting contest.

• June 15th Show begins promptly at 7:45 AM.

• June 15th Banquet will start at 4 PM. Please make sure you submit the number of banquet tickets your family will need.
