We are thrilled to present the 2024 edition of our bred female sale here at Ruda Cattle. As cliché as it sounds there is no doubt this is the most diverse yet high quality set we have offered to date. We are extremely proud of this set of heifers and what we think they will be able to do in operations all around the country. A high percentage of these females are bred A.I. and are guaranteed to be bred to that date. We try hard to run high quality clean up bulls on the heifers and think the progeny out of them will be impressive as well. The heifers have been ultrasounded multiple times to try and get the most accurate due dates possible. We invite you to the farm on December 7th for our open house to evaluate them in person as well as for a meal and drinks. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call with any questions you may have or to schedule a visit if the open house weekend doesn’t work in your schedule. We hope you like the cattle and look forward to visiting with you soon.
God Bless,
The Crew at Ruda Cattle

Due to calve 01/29/25 to Yardley Cupid L282. We started this year’s sale off the same way as last year, with an extremely high quality red baldy Bet On Red daughter. The red Simmentals continue to be extremely popular and here is an opportunity to jump in on one that can make an immediate impact on your program. Her grandmother was a purchase from the Hudsen Pines dispersal and has left a trail of outstanding daughters in our herd today. We are absolutely confident that she will be a game-changer at her new home.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either of these two sisters. Their mother, 25H, is one of our young donors that we are extremely excited about. She was champion commercial heifer at Nebraska State Fair a few years ago and our high selling bred in 2021 when we sold half embryo interest in her. She is also a full sib to lot 15 in this year’s sale. There is definitely power in the blood here. The grandmother to lots 2 and 3 is our most proven donor and continues to generate high selling cattle year after year.

Due to calve 02/06/25 to Yardley Cupid L282. Cow power. This baldy heifer is the epitome of what I think of when I think good, functional cow prospect. Awesome structured with big feet and plenty of bone. Plus, she is about as big bodied and burly as you can make one. Here is a true dual purpose female that I think can be mated a lot of different ways to fit what you are trying to do in your program.

If you are on the hunt for your next red power cow take a look at these two maternal sisters. Their mother was a past purchase from Griswold that was shown several years ago. Lot 5 is an embryo sired by the ultra-popular SWC Red Wave. We have used that bull extensively in our AI and embryo program with great results. Lot 6 is 702E’s natural calf sired by Bet On Red. Take your pick here… you can’t go wrong.

We ended up having a few too many in the barn to get them all shown but the quality in this one is hard to miss. She is really refined through her front end and flat shouldered. Plus, she has a beautiful blaze face. Lot 7 is a really nice purebred who I think will generate exceptional replacement females. ASA 4430147 DOB 02/11/23 TAT 3066L

\Due to calve 02/07/25 to Rocking P Private Stock H010. Lot 8 and 9 are a pair of uniquely built purebred sisters. They are sired by the record selling STCC Tecumseh who brought $620,000 for half semen interest! These two are some of the most unique necked purebreds you will find. They are backed by one of our favorite cows, 27H, and are maternal sisters to our high selling bull last year. Don’t let the fact that they are a little later maturing scare you off, these two will develop into tremendous cows.

Here is another red baldy that is sure to catch your attention. She is long bodied, good footed and sound on the move. What makes this one the most intriguing however is the bottom side of her pedigree. Her mother is a FULL SIB to one of the most potent cows in the Simmental breed, TNGL A Gemstone. This one is the real deal.
Due to calve 02/28/25 to W/C Kaiser 6351L. I’ve always loved the Night Watch cattle just from a function and practicality standpoint. Prodigy is a Profit x Havanna that we purchased from Kearns a few years ago and he has made a tremendous impact on our cow herd. When Jered Shipman called and said he found a bull we needed to own he wasn’t kidding. This will be some of the last daughters we will market out of him as he is getting older and we still want to retain a few more ourselves. Both sides of this female’s pedigree are awesome as she goes back to the one and only Right to Love on the bottom side. Sired by W/C Bankroll, who I consider to be one of the best bulls in the history of the Simental breed, and out of our 25Y donor who continues to raise our best female’s year in and year out. 25Y is a Steel Force out of the Legendary Forever Lady 5001. If you are looking for a red one then hopefully this set of flush sisters has something to trip your trigger. We have had really good luck with Bet On Red but it’s kind of hard not to when you have a flush that comes out looking like these do. They hail from one of the best red cows to walk this place, GLS Ava A56, who was the high selling red female off of the Grass Lunning dispersal. We think these 5 are big time cow prospects that have the potential to raise bulls and females both!

Ever since this group of heifers hit the ground as babies we have anxiously awaited them turning into breds because we always felt they would make dang nice ones. Well, they didn’t disappoint. We think the pedigree of these heifers is truly something to get excited about. They are sired by VCL Foresight, who is the sire of the extremely popular and record selling Simmental bull STCC Tecumseh. However, the bottom side of the pedigree might be the most intriguing as these four females are all granddaughters of the immortal Tammy cow who has produced countless
for the Boyert Program. All four of these females are a little different in type and kind but are packed with quality and hope you find one that fits what you are looking for.

Beast. that’s the best way to describe Lot 28. It doesn’t matter what angle you study her from she is big and wide and powerful. She has a huge sweeping rib cage with lots of depth and shape. Lot 29 3/4 SIMMENTAL
Due to calve 02/07/25 to W/C Stanley 4275F. Probably shouldn’t be letting this one go but our loss is your chance to tie in to a productive cow family. Unfortunately, we lost this one’s mother this summer when she stifled herself. She had been a mainstay in our herd for years consistently raising some of our better calves. If Lot 29 follows in her mother’s footsteps she will be a fantastic cow for years to come.

Due to calve 02/07/25 to W/C Stanley 4275F. From birth until now Lot 30 has always been a standout. She has always had the ability to stick out in the group and always get noticed. When I bred this one’s mother a couple of years ago, I had found some Legendary semen that never got used. Based off this one I’m kicking myself for not using more.
Due to calve 02/07/25 to Rocking P Private Stock H010.
Several years ago we purchased the mother of Lot 31 from Griswold’s as a bred heifer. Since then, she has been the definition of consistent as she has put every calf she has ever had either on our bull sale or our bred female sale. This one may be the best one she’s had to date. Sired by our outstanding herd sire KCC1 Prodigy, this one should make a heck of a cow.
RUDA MS Right Now 3155L
Lots 32 and 33 are both sired by herd bulls that stem from the great Werning program in South Dakota. We have had tremendous success with their genetics and when you end up with females like these out of your own bulls it often leaves me wondering why we spend so much time AI’ing cows instead of letting these studs just go to work.

Due to calve 04/17/25 to MR Watchmen 1040L. 701A, affectionately know around here as “Big Mama”, was the cow that started it all for our Simmental operation. It’s not very often that we let one of her daughters leave the herd but we decided that Lot 34 would be that chance. We feel that she offers exceptional quality and really embodies what we are trying to produce. Study hard on this one, she just might be your next big-time donor. Note: she cut her foot as a calf and there is a small knot on the outside of her pastern. It in no way affects her mobility and is strictly cosmetic.

A little old school breeding on this one but I guess if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Milestone was always known for making great cows so I feel confident in her ability to be a good functional cow. Out of a monopoly cow that threw a little extra power and hair in for good measure.
Due to calve 02/07/25 to WHF Double Up G365.
Last chance to get in on these “Prodigy” females. This one is a lot like the rest. She is loose structured and correct in her angles plus she has a beautify baldy face and is elegant through her front end.
RUDA MS Right Now 3203L
We really strive every year to find a herd bull to bring in that we think will make a difference in our herd. These four females are all sired by W/C Right Now 7025G. The first year we used him as a heifer bull but quickly realized he was more than just a calving ease sire. Those cattle grew and performed well, and we loved the way they were made. He then got turned out of big groups of cows for several years with many of his daughters kept as replacements. This year is one of our largest offerings of this sire group and we hope you like them as well as we do.
